Theory:At the end of the trailer I feel like it isn’t the final encounter but the nightmare mono might have at the beginning of the game. Since both six and the runaway kid had nightmares about one of the major antagonists in their journey I feel like mono would have the same nightmare.
@@deadcorpse9760 well if I'm correct all the nightmares start at the nest, so I'm assuming the nest is first on the timeline, because if you remember at the end of Very Little Nightmares there was a girl that eventually inherited the yellow rain coat, so we are going to assume that is six, anyway what I wanted to say is maybe every step to a new environment means more nightmares and bad, there was not really a nightmare of very little nightmares but then we go to the maw and that's when the real nightmares start coming, but the next step above that would be the LN2 environment, which I like to call "Broadcaster Island" where the nightmares are even more alive and scary, so let's think of it as a product line, and I will just leave it there for you to figure out
At the end of the trailer, a scream can be heard... to me, it sounds like a female scream, does the broadcaster grab Six and not mono? There's even a statue for little nightmares 2 with mono and a giant monster that looks like six and the janitor combined.
actuelly thats just mono without his bag [ya just had to do it willow-] although mono does have a girly scream doe [not trying to be rude- ........ i think im a simp for mono... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Well, it could be six but, it would seem it is near the end of the game, and at that point, six would have her raincoat already, but as you see, there is no raincoat, and the character is holding their face, maybe surprised something covering their face is gone, therefore, it is most likely mono.
He grabs Mono, you can tell by the hair and coat. As for the scream, Mono's like, 10 or 11, his voice would just be starting to mature so, still high pitched and girly.
Wow, you're fast man!! 😅 I have the theory that maybe Mono is the broadcaster's son 🤔 But then I remembered when the same was said about Six and the Lady and that wasn't true at the end. Which leads me to another theory. Maybe he is not his son, but maybe Mono was supposed to become the next broadcaster as he became an adult, which he rejected and then escaped. You said something similar about the pretender. Maybe she was supposed to be the next in charge of the Maw, but that doesn't mean she's the Teacher and the Hanging man's daughter 🤔
My theory is the Broadcaster is the hanging man. Considering this *is* Little Nightmares, should we really assume he was dead when we was hanging there?
Great video! I noticed that Mono evoids looking at the TV man, and Six also evoids looking a workign TV, we se that on the 1st trailer. Maybe thats the only way they can resist the TV man control.
I think that last shot is actually Mono’s opening nightmare. Just like how Six had the lady, RK had the granny, Mono will experience a nightmare, being grabbed by the thin man. Backing this theory up is the fact Mono doesn’t have the bag over his head
Things you missed in a trailer, described by a smartass: -Game be pretty yo. -Televisions may be a running motif or theme throughout the game. -The two characters work together to overcome obstacles. This was carefully and subtly hidden throughout the trailer and only the most keen observer could have seen it. -The two characters may not be bound at the hip at all times during the game. I suspect that this means Mono might fly solo, go alone, be all by himself, or otherwise not have any companions, company, friends, comrades, teammates, pals, or other supportive people at some point. Mono, coincidentally, means "One". -There are traps. Note the bear traps and swinging things that one could surmise as potentially harmful (this has yet to be confirmed). -Sneaking will be in the game. A fascinating innovation on the original formula seen in the first game. -The Hunter has a house. Good for him. -The Teacher has a freaky neck, another detail that one could only see if they look using forensic technology at a very specific moment in the trailer. -A hammer make take up a starring role in the gameplay at some point. How this was extrapolated will flummox me until my final breath but that frankly disturbing attention to detail is what separates the content creators and trailer analysts from the snarky bastards who infest comment sections. -Thing from the Addams Family has found stable employment at a creepy hospital. -Said creepy hospital has made exceptional progress in prosthetic technology. -Rudely shining a flashlight in the eyes of people lacking heads works somehow. I've heard of Phantom Limbs but this is ridiculous. -A new Long Man has entered the arena. If he isn't good at video essays then I will be supremely disappointed. -Opening eyes and looking at the video while it is playing has been theorized to assist in not missing things being portrayed in the trailer. This has yet to be confirmed by scientists and is hotly debated by philosophers to this very day.
Theory: What if the broadcaster is turned against its will. It possibly could have entered the TV but it didnt as for it seemed it didnt want to. The way how he drifts through areas like a spirit may seem like he is possessed. It could also mean that he isnt the end of the game. With this therefore it could mean that mono and six havent had the fill for the adventure. The other bossess are controlled by the tower so why not the broadcaster. Even if he isnt the one who is controlling the future of the people... well then who is it. I think it is possible that some areas that you cant enter have other secrets held within them which means something is behind the scene. I looked closely in one of the clips and saw somethng dashing across the room and saw its shadow. It was in the hunters shack and maybe it has something to do with this. Guess well see soon enough because its seems that some of these creatures cant do it themself and have more than one of them helping.
A think this is all about seven deadly sins. Pride is the first(mono) sins of all. Gluttony is sixth sin. But Mono and Six are opposite for these dark places, they are some kind of little lights in the complete darkness.
Theory: in little nightmares, six had ladys powers, but her new description says she is fading from existance, what if she lost her powers because of that?
I will give you a heads up of what I think of the teacher she reminds me of an anime called Naruto And one of the villains have that skill of extending their neck like a snake and she reminds me of him even but just the skill similarity And that guys name is Lord Orochimaru
One new thing could be voiced bosses as after six and Mono bring down the Piano the hunter slammed into the door I think I hear the words “damn it” after he does that.
oh boy theory: It's been stated that something is wrong with Six and her powers from the first game are either killing her or draining or something, right? What if the same is happening with the Broadcaster. You say he's glitching through the world but what if he literally is glitching? While Mono can safely travel in the static of TVs, Broadcaster is eternally static in the world. Maybe he's after Mono in particular because if Broadcaster drained Mono's power, he can solidify and become more powerful instead of existing as a glitching ghost and only being able to influence people thru his TVs. Yeah, you can say "Why bother being whole when he still seemingly controls everything already?" but honestly anyone with power is always looking for more power.
They just saved 2020 started the best of 2021 Things i noticed: 6 has a ponytail its hard to see but its there that may be cause she has been there for days a long time considering the marks on the wall Things i wonder 1:31 why is mono covering his eyes is the signal man controlling people by speeking through the tv? What would happen if he where to controll them directly and not through the Tv? Is it his voice or is it looking into his eyes what controlls you One of the children is gon by the end of the trailor who is gone what happened to them? What kind of smaller monsters are there in this world other than the children Who is controlling the dead bodies If six is faiding does that mean she is the missing child what happened or is happening to her why is she faiding is it the powers that she got takeing the ladys power Is she becomeing an adult like the rest and turning evil ? Why does the hunter want the kids? Do they eat children like they do at the maw? Is it all just the little nightmares of normal children who live in a normal world Are they so small because its just how children preseve the world is wierd and imaginative We'll find out soon.
the kid who’s missing is six she just didn’t have her yellow raincoat I’m gonna assume it can’t affect the children cause the reason mono has it paper bag been confirmed by the creators Six probably won’t get hungry here plus remember she has the lady powers thin man (confirmed name on Bandai website) could use her against him and mono paper bag had a meaning the Bandai website tells you (As the world buckled under the relentless pulse of the signal tower Mono takes refuge where he can his thin paper mask offers him some respite helping him forget that the world outside hates him and wants him to fail but he can’t stay hidden much longer) Also the broadcaster name has also been confirmed to be thin man and his face has been shown The dead bodies are most likely being experimented on by the ‘’doctors’’ The smaller monster are kinda already shown Leaches Shadow kids Porcelain dolls The hunter bio states that he’s looking for trophy’s maybe the kids are trophy’s or some sort I feel like the kids are like smurfs there’s confirmed to be magic type of stuff in little nightmares and in the comics one of the children lived in their village but was casted out when the village got taken out so they have homes
I think it's safe to wager that Mono and the Broadcaster are related. Not only due to their shared powers (unlike the Lady and Six who passed their powers from one to the other upon death), but also by their actions and behavior. First, Mono. When we first see him, he's waking up in the middle of nowhere... with a TV just behind him. Given that it is confirmed Mono has the power to teleport through TV screens, it seems likely Mono got to the forest from that TV. The question is... why? There are definitely all kinds of things in the LN world that could do so, but... what if the reason Mono teleported all the way out to the forest was that he was being pursued by the Broadcaster? It would definitely make sense given that areas in the wilderness are known to have weak signals, making it an ideal place to escape from the Broadcaster and the Signal Tower's broadcasts. As for the Broadcaster himself, while he's definitely hostile to Mono, it actually *doesn't* seem like he wants to kill him. In one of the few scenes we've seen of him (9:08), when he's pursuing Mono... he's not actually putting much effort into it. Rather than rushing down and killing Mono, who is a clear threat to the Signal Tower, the Broadcaster simply teleports right behind him and casually walks after him. If the Broadcaster _is_ Mono's relative (or at least knows him personally), this would make sense; he doesn't want to kill Mono, but rather capture and imprison him and perhaps even attempt to turn Mono back to his side just like he's done to all the adults in the City. The "father-son" theory is also supported by Mono's determination to stop the Signal Tower rather than, you know, run away as far as he can from it like most people - if he knows the Broadcaster personally as his son or some other relative, Mono's motivation may be a personal vendetta (can't imagine any of these villains being good parents, after all) as well as feeling guilty for what his father (Broadcaster) has done to the people of this world and feels obligated to stop him since he himself has similar powers. *There's also the possibility that the Broadcaster **_isn't even alive,_** or at least is not a currently living being.* While I don't think he's the ghost of the Hanging Man from the Maw (how would his spirit get from there all the way to the City? Ghosts are typically known to haunt where they were killed), it does seem possible that the Broadcaster is indeed a spirit. If you look closely at him, you can sometimes actually make out black wisps emanating from his body (8:46 & 9:19) similar to the black wisps that represented the soul energy from the Guests that Six absorbed with her powers. There's also the fact that the Broadcaster sometimes manifests as a literal shadow man devoid of any color (9:12), something not even the Lady ever had. If the Broadcaster is a ghost, then it's possible he is literally haunting the Signal Tower's broadcasts which would explain how he can exist _inside_ TV screens whereas Mono can only teleport instantly between TV screens (though it could just as easily be that the Broadcaster's powers are more developed than Mono's powers due to being much older, I wouldn't be surprised if Mono eventually unlocks the ability to instantly teleport over distances _without_ needing TV screens just like the Broadcaster is shown doing).
Being around the broadcaster (if they are related) would teach Mono how to prevent himself from being brainwashed through the TVs. If you look closely Mono appears to cover his eyes when the Broadcaster's hands appear through the tv
I’m not sure about the Broadcaster being Mono’s father because of how Tarsier shot down the theory that Six was the Lady’s daughter, but it’s a possibility. At the very least, they could be members of the same species
@@angeliccreeper1486 Definitely. Like I said, it's notable how the Broadcaster doesn't give his all into taking Mono down despite having the chance to do so; at that scene at 9:08 the Broadcaster simply follows right behind Mono instead of just teleporting over and ending his adventure right then and there. All the other enemies we've seen so far (Hunter, Teacher, mannequins) are much more aggressive and go for the kill outright against the escapee kids, so why is the Broadcaster acting more passive to someone he must know is a legit threat to his regime? If the Broadcaster isn't Mono's father, then the Broadcaster at least might see Mono as his kin and seeks to imprison Mono rather than kill him so that he can take Mono under his wing as a potential successor (something SuperHorrorBro brought up in his video about how the world works in LN). The final boss esque scene at 9:31 could be when the Broadcaster finally gives up on making Mono his ally and goes all out against him, no holds barred.
@MrReyes 500 Something that was also brought up at 8:04 is that he could somehow be the ghost of the Hanging Man. If this is the case, maybe that’s why the Broadcaster isn’t immediately trying to kill Mono; he’s trying to preserve him as his new vessel to possess so he can have a firmer grasp in the physical world. It’s only when Mono becomes enough of a threat that he abandons that and resorts to simply trying to kill him in order to preserve the control he has over the Pale City.
Another cool concept that I'm also curious about, is whether throughout the game Six is gonna get hungry (since that was something that happened to her in the 1st game) and Mono will have to get her food or if she only gonna get super hungry towards the end of the game and she might have no other choice but to eat Mono which is gonna be SUPER SUPER SAD for almost everyone :'(
If you read some lore I remember it saying that she is fading out or dying and you got to help her so what I think is the power she got is destroying her it's too much causing her to start fading out of existence
neck goes brrrr Anyways, glad to hear about your thoughts about the trailer! I thought about some of the same things you mentioned in your video as I was watching the trailer! Thanks for another great video :D
The final part of the trailer looks like the final boss between Mono and The Broadcaster as they face each other face to face to settle this once and for all in the raining city street. Another note if you didn't notice is that it also looks like for the final boss Mono ends up losing his paper bag mask since you can see that as he's standing up he doesn't have it anymore. Either way I'm so excited since it might also look like Mono is gonna be fighting to protect Six or could end up defeating The Broadcaster but dying in the process making six feel bad; or you know.....she just might kill Mono after he defeats the final boss by eating him.
Six probably won’t get hungry here plus remember she has the lady powers thin man (confirmed name on Bandai website) could use her against him and mono paper bag had a meaning the Bandai website tells you (As the world buckled under the relentless pulse of the signal tower Mono takes refuge where he can his thin paper mask offers him some respite helping him forget that the world outside hates him and wants him to fail but he can’t stay hidden much longer) and on thin man description and it also shows you his face he states that he’s looking for something this most likely can be mono
I actually think Six’s hunger attacks were because of the Lady’s magic. If the Lady’s already dead and Six has her powers, maybe she won’t experience those hunger attacks anymore
Just want to say that your ability to find a way to make everything go one correct way is amazing And for other people in the comments section don't you think that mono and six holding hands is so cute ? :3
I actually almost predicted the release date xD I thought it was gonna come out right on valentine's day but instead its gonna come out 3 days earlier. Even better
THREE GAMES - THREE LOCATIONS: SEA, SKY AND LAND.... LIKE THE THREE BIBLICAL BEASTS - LAVIATHAN, ZIZ AND BAHAMUTH. ALSO, POSSIBLE CONECTION TO THE GEISHA AND THE TEACHER - ROKUROKUBI AND ROKUBI.
Seven Deadly Sins. It has different interpretation, but Pride considered as the first sin of all(represent Thin man and his city). Gluttony is sixth sin (represents the maw). Mono and Six they are some kind of anti Sins agents, little lights against complete darkness.
crazy theory time: Mono is a mannequin. that's why he covers his head with a plastic bag and that's why he can travel through the tvs. he's a creation of the broadcaster but somehow has free will.
Okay so I got a bit of a theory or a thing that might help you theorize the reanimated corpses are in a hospital I believe that there's a character that hasn't been shown I believe there's some sort of doctor and perhaps the slug thing on the ceiling was actually a mutated or surgically enhanced guest that has lost the ability to walk but can stick to walls and ceilings I also have a theory that this area may be important because the dolls are made of glass that is reanimated so maybe the doctor can not only reanimate corpses but also dolls and unlike the pretender the lady has tons of special dolls of herself that six smashes in the first game so perhaps this doctor reanimates the lady but she's stuck at that size and because of this I believe she joins mono and six most of this is just an idea of mine but the doctor I believe is an actual thing not yet shown or introduced
Again, I SWEAR TO GOD, IF ADORABLE BABY MONO WILL DIE, BECAUSE OF SIX EATING HIM OR SOME TALL-MAN-SLENDERMAN-RIP-OFF KILLING HIM, THIS WORLD WILL BE IN DANGER.
Fun Fact: While staying with family in Sweden, I worked at a Starbucks. A designer with Tarsier Studios actually came in to order a lot of beverages and he told me about how hard he’s been working on the new game. He also beta tested it and said that he’s mad they made it so hard😂😂😂he’s actually the one that convinced me into playing the first Little Nightmare. I saw him a few more times after that, once with one of the designers who actually directly animates the characters. I hope the game is as great as they described! I’m excited.
Omg the release of Little Nightmares 2 9s near my birthday my birthday is February 5 the release is just 6 days later it's kinda like my late birthday gift lol ANDYAAAAY I'm so excited for it to come and I'm not patient for it to come but at least it's coming yay
My little crazy theory is that Mono is being sent to get Six to be the new Pretender since the Lady is old and may need replacing. If the Thin man killed himself to make himself stronger? like be one with the signal? So he can control and trick Mono into getting Six. It's a stretch but being such a dark world who knows. Seems like brainwashing could be a theme so yeah.
●My theory: You could see this glitching kid in the little nightmares 2 gameplay trailer and i researched about it,he's called the "ghost kid" and is located in the black tower, and my theory is he' the runnaway kid's ghost and since he really looked like the runaways kid,and as you see in the secrets of the maw in the end were the gnome runaway kid stands infront sausage/when you finish the secrets of the maw there is a achievement where its says "we'll meet again" so could it be the runaway kid's ghost, yet i dunno if the ghost will be an enemy or a guide something Edit:correction:its was actually called "the ghost" and its located in the hospital
Mono is kind of clumsy because i just thought that why six knows the shortcut and stuff like the part when six and mono opened the door mono fell, six quickly grabbed his arms maybe six is the guide instead of mono, lol
A thought occurs to me; why does the Hunter use a shotgun? Since he taxidermies those he kills, you’d think he’d choose a weapon that’d leave Six and Mono mostly intact
8:43 - 8:45: what if this is the first scene in the game? Mono having a nightmare with Broadcaster, like in the first scene of the first game in which Six is having a nightmare with The Lady.
