haha I see what you mean interms of your most liked/viewed but that' just shows how greatly Mako touched the souls of an entire generation or two... btw you must have some pretty nifty skills in making this In only an hour! id be still stuck on figuring out which pictures to use then the font of the characters etc but I guess it is a really simple task when you break down... nevertheless sincerely from me & the many others Thank You for taking the time to make the video in the first place and especially dedicating this to Mako for he was a truly inspiring person along with being an incredible actor, even played some roles in Samurai Jack which was another inspiring and thought-provoking cartoon at there at the time...or I guess a few years prior

Yes but Greg was the perfect replacement. While it wasn’t the same as before emotionally Greg’s performance was almost indistinguishable from mako. I didn’t realize there was a change until at least 7 years ago during my 3rd or 4th re run through all the episodes. Greg replaced other mako characters as well with such respect and pride each time. In every interview and q&a at cons he always refers to himself as either replacement, secondary, or replacement Iroh. The biggest and most heart wrenching thing about Mako is that this song was the final thing he recorded for the last airbender, which you can hear in the raw emotion and true sorrow/reflection in his voice throughout the song.

@@ZoneGoated no he wasn't. Mako was crying over his own son and loss in his life there is an interview where it's discussed in writing. He wrote leaves from the vine himself a poem of many he wrote in his lifetime. Yes he also had cancer but he wasn't crying over that. It's explicitly not true.

And greg, he did a wonderful job after mako's passing and always idolizes mako in every interaction as iroh by saying the 2nd or replacement of mako, keeping his memory alive for years to come ❤️❤️😭😭😭
