Haven't watched one for a while Rogee been a little discouraged the last few months you know why, but glad I watched this one gave me a little more inspiration to get back out there with my bow, you can't get a deer mopping around at home, so yeah as I said glad I watched this one, that is mighty steep in there you guys definitely earned that one, thanks for taking us along really enjoyed it.

Hi, good hunt, very few people comprehend how hard the recovery treck can be in NZ bush steep slopes. I am glad to see you do this activity in conjunction with a reliable mate. In my early days I did some hunts on my own and looking back I now think how stupid and naïve my decisions were. You give a very good example of how hunting should be done. Roggee, you missed the "r" off "your thing" on your disclaimer..... Nice second shot to finish off that deer and huge respect for those clearly hard climbs to recover your meat for the family. As you have mentioned in other videos your packs once fully loaded with your meat are a significant load and getting that back to the car is a feat in itself. Those little knives you both used to butcher look awesome. Stay safe, and respect from Tynemouth, England.

You highlight the good points and the bad ones as you are not frightened to share mistakes and allow us to learn from them whilst always reminding us to do weapons safety checks numerous times. I am really surprised that RU-vid hasn't tried to stop some of them which would be bad news as I like the butchery elements you show now and again as that is also educational. Looking forward to the next outing. Would be nice as a little additional intro or stand-alone video to see a little of New Zealand around where you live as it looks like a fantastic place to live.

Cheers Mike, in reality most hunters don’t do any rifle safety declarations to each other let alone do it on a RU-vid vid. So we openly do it to encourage others to do it … trying to make it acceptable/ cool to ask 👌🏽🤙🏽

Ohhh...😂🤔thats a loaded question.....Well if I'm being honest I'm a Harris man through and through and thats my first choice...but to answer your question I think I prefer the MTN, mainly coz I can tighten the screws to limit the travel and play that both bipods have. The MTN also has a smaller profile...but I'm splitting hairs now.

Awesome work mate and bloody great effort. What grain projectile are you running out of the 308 at 450y ?. I have an xbolt 308 roughly 15” and running 150gr due to my ballistic app saying it’s got better performance out to 400y compared to 165gr which only just starts taking over at that range. 👍😊
