I followed you from the Yardbird days, saw you with Rod Stewart at the Fillmore East and many other times over the years. Thanks for the comments. I attended both JBG at the Fillmore East shows Still reverberating. My personal favorite was the Blow by Blow tour. Completely over the top.
@@reallive2367 Jeff's shows, were always great, greater and greatest. All of those levels are open for discussion. I remember Rod hiding behind the amps the first time JBG played at the Fillmore East. Kinda funny, but the show was amazing. Loved him doing Plynth, Ain't Superstitious, and Morning Dew from that era.

Insane version, he has such a spacious approach but he plays all the important stuff with a timing and impact that it's like it was pre recorded or something.

@@uwetittmann1423 In his later years Jeff Beck, as is the case here, used his whammy bar to produce a subtle vibrato. If you can’t hear Jeff’s vibrato then you are tone-deaf, you douche!!! Besides, Jimi played this song as a vocal track, where Jeff is playing “on a high wire” letting it all hang out as a full instrumental!!! How many instrumentals did Hendrix play? He knew playing instrumentals was a “minefield” and stayed clear of them, where Beck jumped in head first.
SRV did not play “Little Wing” as an instrumental like Jeff did. It is a heck of a lot harder playing this song as an instrumental as opposed to playing it as a vocal track. I watched Jeff Beck destroy SRV on there 1989 tour together!!!
