Welcome to the live stream @ The feeder
The feeder was built mainly for the Starlings as they collect food and feed their newly hatched chicks which are around 2 weeks old now.
The feeder was designed to create a safe space for the Starlings to come and collect food as we have a few Magpies that like to hassle the Starlings. Other birds do at times visit the feeder including a quite friendly Jackdaw who the Starlings do not seem to mind..
Then there are the pigeons who again we dont mind as they hoover up any dropped food.
We have other feeding stations dotted around the garden for all the other birds including goldfinch, Blue tits, Blackbirds, Sparrows and a rather cheeky robin called Frank.
Enjoy watching the antics of the Starlings as they feed,squabble and enjoy their day..
It's sure to liven up in a few weeks once the young fledge and the real carnage begins..
