Every Korean show starts with the crowd holding their phones but as the show progresses the crowd gets wilder and wilder. By the end of the show they are going crazy. Hyukoh is really good at driving their crowd. I saw them in a much smaller venue and was amazed at how the polite crowd at the beginning devolved into a sweaty mass of dancing bodies. So much fun. I was so looking forward to the show in Vancouver.
I've read a lot of comments on Hyukoh's live concerts in Korea and they always comment on how the crowd sucks and lame because they're just sitting down and not jumping around like other concerts, but something that I know about Korean crowd (other than the kpop fans) is that they want to listen to music without being bothered by other people, that's why they just sat there and ENJOY the show and they respect the other audience so they don't bother them by jumping around and screaming.
