baby halibut?? 22" are 4yr old. I enjoy the fillets the best on the 22". The 30"+ should be let go. Those are the big breeders and have the parasites. Bad take Tyler!

its great unless there is a lot of wind. Hard to steer the boat with the kicker in windy situations. Thats not a tailfin issue, gonna happen if you use your kicker to steer when its not connected to main motor.

"tides" is the tide app but only on android i think. "windy" for the wind and willyweather.com for the swell. I google search for example "bodega bay swell forecast willy weather"

@@ChrisPfish2 This wasn't a snippy response. Just saying that they're very small to be lugging in large, dangerous fish. In my day, the tikes were taught bait fishing, how to bait the hook, how to take the fish off the hook, put it in the bait well/ bucket...more independent fishing skills that grew into confidence builders for the later years. Here, you're just having them crank up a big fish without understanding the subtleties of landing a fish. If it becomes too hard or too dangerous, they might reject fishing altogether. Building up their fine motor skills gradually will allow them to be better fishermen (women) in the future. My opinion. Also, you'd get bigger, better bait.

@@goombamike4944 it is though, your telling me how to raise my kids and your continuing to do it. You have no idea if i take them trout or bluegill fishing or maybe we do tuna sometimes. This is me taking them on one trip that I decided to film for a fathers day themed video. My kids love all fishing and we had a blast that day and your telling me they didnt have a good time, F off! I dont film generally when I fish with my family, your more of a reason not too.

Chris don’t let that Jack hole discourage you from filming when you take your kids out. We need to get the kids into fishing so we can keep our fisheries. He doesn’t get that the kids will generally catch bigger fish . I think it’s awesome that you take them and they will remember those trips
