I’m so happy for Peaches. It’s awesome to see a bison birth. Its really something to see how the other bison all stay close by as well as Big Joe checking in. It’s very interesting to watch. It’s watching a new life after losing one that makes us appreciate life more. I feel so bad for Belle Star. Hopefully she is able to find joy again. Praying for all your bison

Incredible video Dusty and thank you for sharing. It’s important to see that as big and strong as Bison are sometimes difficult things happen and the outcome is tremendously sad not just for us but Belle Star and she has feelings and emotions and also goes through grieving. Wonderful footage of Peaches birthing and seeing how she cares for her little one, even moving it so she could lick everything dry. So sorry for your loss and also congrats on Peaches baby. You and Marissa are so very compassionate and I’m glad Belle Star is yours as she will be allowed her grieving time. Love your videos and your compassion and dedication to the Bison. ❤❤

Glad you and us got to watch the miracle of a live bison birth. How amazing. Sad about Belle Stars baby, but if you didn't see that you wouldn't have seen Peaches giving birth. Watching Bellstar is heartbreaking and we all know that's life but just seeing her going back and forward you can see her heart braking where as peaches is feeling joy and success of a successful birth it's from one extreme to the other.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Belle Star's baby - the look she was giving you almost seemed one of despair and that she was asking for help. I know she was being a good mama trying to wake her baby up. It just wasn't meant to be. But thank God that you were there to catch the birth of Peaches' baby and what a good mama she is too! My son is a Master Cattleman. These days he is in heaven tending God's cattle and horses. I miss him so much and can't bring myself to go near the farm he called home for several years. I was blessed to see the birth of a healthy calf and then one that took the life of both the calf and the mother. I was at her head as he had her in the chute. I am telling you they know you understand their pain. I was crying with her. I kept wiping her tears. My son had to put her asleep. It was the kind thing to do because her calf was to large for her to have. It left her paralyized. I had to leave on that. I couldn't handle it.

OK, this is the 2nd video I've watched, back to back of Belle Star losing a baby to Peaches having a baby that is alive and well. I'm loving this! I'm assuming you don't because of some of your wording, but do you ever help/aide them in their birthing processes? Also, again with your compassion, I love that you are giving her, her mourning time with her calf, I believe that is so important. I also, love the fact that you are burying the calf, that means a lot to me (even though I'm no one), but I'm sure it means a lot to your Bison even though they don't show it. What an amazing video to watch! Thank you!!!!

I'm so happy you got to see Peaches have her calf after finding the one that didn't make it. I felt so sorry for that poor mama. She just doesn't understand why her baby isn't getting up. Thank you for letting us witness this one be born!
