Gayle's rudeness was eye opening. Talk about no experience Gayle you are nothing but oprah's underling.

Gayle King backtracked on a great interview on Camille in support of AH, instead of keeping it about Camille and her success. GK never brought up the Six Long Years Johnny was vilified.

A lot of people believed Amber???WTF?? The only people who believed Amber did NOT watch the trial.

Gayle is clearly team AH. Horrific allegations were NOT made on both sides. JD’s side only presented rebuttal against AH’s allegations. It’s frustrating to hear someone say AH was vilified on social media. She was exposed based on evidence and inconsistencies in her own words, and false horrific accusations. She deserves what is happening to her and more. No Gayle, the overwhelming majority of people did not believe her. JD was the one who was vilified: he lost pirates 6 and was fired mid shooting from fantastic beasts. I do not understand how MSM can still defend her!

Amber isn’t “being vilified” She is the “villain” and that truth was revealed.

Gayle is a horrible interviewer. I'm sure Camille's law firm didn't appreciate Gayle suggesting that she quit and start her own firm. Is she even a journalist

Ben hugged Johny more than Camille and got choked up more. The public focused on Camille because, she's right, people like romance. And I think they want to see Johnny happy. It's as simple as that.

Gayle was low key disrespectful in many ways but Camille and her team handled it so well and made Gayle look like the sh!t stirrer that she is.

To vilify someone requires them not to be evil in the first place.

OMG!!! Are you kidding me? She is saying that AH is being vilified….. Well yeah!!! She IS the villain!! She has done all of this to herself!! The countless lies, and absurdities she has told about a man, who truly loved her…. It sickens my heart what she has done to Johnny. I am so happy Johnny finally stood up for himself. To bring out the truth of what AH has done to him. Bravo!! Johnny is finally free from this woman’s lies!! I pray that any man, or woman, or child, can tell their truth, and be heard.

They won the case because Johnny told the truth. The recordings, and his testimony was an unstoppable win for him.

I’m disappointed Wayne Dennison wasn’t even mentioned. He did an amazing job.

I hate that she keeps referring to them as younger attorneys. Camille is only a few years older than them and she's still under 40. She is acting like they are teenagers and not lawyers with near a decade of experience.

I really admired how Ben Chew just gave them the reigns and he seems like he is an awesome mentor to have.

Gayle comes across as very condescending, Camille handles it very well as expected! AH was not vilified, she was the legit villain…by her own words, testimony, evidence and arrogance!

Jessica was so calm and patient taking Johnny through his testimony. Total vibe of "we got this, take your time".

Its crazy how mainstream media is STILL defending AH. Big props to CV and those associates for not taking any cheap shots like AH's legal team during their interview.

I thought Gayle was cringey! You could tell she was faking her smile and was an AH supporter.

I agree with everybody talking about Gayle supporting AH. That is exactly what I got out of that. Gayle was being polite and tried to pretend she was neutral while interviewing Camille and her associates, but her comments at the end revealed her true stance. Did she ever ask JD to come on her show during the last 6 years and ask him to tell his side when AH made her allegations? No. Because she didn't care to give him air time to tell his side of the story. She just believed AH's accusations. But now, that AH has lost in court and in the court of public opinion, she's saying 'Poor thing ,she's being vilified'. AH DESERVES to be vilified. She is a VILLAIN. Saying she's a villain is actually not vilifying her, it's just saying the truth. They never give the men accused of terrible things air time to explain their side. And really, they shouldn't, until it has been proven in court that it is false or not false. But I guarantee you, if Johnny had lost in court, they wouldn't be saying 'He's being vilified, poor guy. He should be able to speak up for himself, we should reach out to his team and interview him'. No, they never did that. It's ridiculous that they don't see their double standard and don't acknowledge that they are being extremely unfair to men who have been abused by women. Of course, women deserve the chance to speak out and get help and get their abuser behind bars or to pay reparations or something, but men deserve the same thing. And you can tell by Gayle's commentary afterwards that she is on the side of the abuser AH. Does that mean she never watched the trial? Did she just see clips? Did she believe the crocodile tears with no tears? This is very disappointing. Very disappointing that even in a supposedly positive interview, she still manages to slip in support of the actual abuser, AH (I don't say her name).

Given how long Camille has been preparing this case.....of course, she and JD were "friendly." Personally, I felt like she was more "protective" rather than romantic. I didn't think anyone was more "touchy-feely" with JD than they were with each other. I feel like the entire team were respectful, professional and showed a true respect and concern for one another. In my honest opinion, they were representative of what a well-functioning team looks like.

Camille gave me the impression she was comforting and consoling her client. Not in any way romantic. Reports were doing the same thing regarding Johnny and his French tutor, or Camille being invited to his concerts, which she attended with her boyfriend. Men can have female friends without any romantic inklings that are too easily assumed.

It’s frustrating that Gayle spoke for Camille at the end there, why not show Camille saying those things? And it was a little odd how she made it seem like Camille was a lawyer to go to if you behaved badly…

I love their team’s genuine humility and real chemistry!

They make it seem that since Amber is attacked on SM that means she's not guilty. She is attacked because she was a Liar and accused a man of horrific things that could have landed him in Prison!

Would Gayle have given a similar benefit of the doubt if Amber had been male and Johnny female?

Gayle 's interview question should have been better. Better prepared. She could've ask alot more then love connection and opening her on firm. She accepted partner.

Amber isn't the victim she was the bully and Johnny was THE victim and it was proven in court and I'm glad people saw this and any horrible things that have been said about Amber it's because she lied so much to try and take down a innocent! It's disgusting Gayle is a disgrace saying that!!!

Gayle didn't bring the hugs between AH and her attorney's. JD was putting his life on the line, Camille was there as a supporter, you see hugs between attorneys and clients often.

I'm a little frustrated that Gayle is still defending AH. If JD had been found "guilty", there would not be this same concern.

Apparently Gayle didn’t watch the full trial or listen to all the audios. Especially the one where AH says she was going to use makeup to accuse him. It’s hard to feel any sympathy for a person who purposely set these lies in motion and people blindly believed her. Where was Gayles sympathy for JD and the 6 years of his life that was ruined by AH.

The best part of the interview was Camilla telling the world it wasn’t just her and let some of her co workers talk, who worked equally as hard. I love them all, they should all get recognition! I just think the whole thing was too short. But other than that it was ok, nothing we haven’t heard besides the younger lawyers

Why is Johnny still the villain, if amber was a man and Johnny was a woman Gail wouldn’t be even talking about amber. Didn’t Gail watch the trial? Every news network talk about Johnny like he wasn’t the victim here.. ridiculous

Interviewer came off as condescending. She feels sorry for the defendant which strange but I guarantee she didn't watch the trial.

One can’t be vilified when all that’s in the media is facts about the person via their voice recordings, elevator cameras, text messages and flat out lies when half azz answering questions. Amber got what SHE created.

I didn’t appreciate Gail at all and Im disappointed in the interview. I can’t put my finger on it. She was ignoring the fact that Johnny was like the victim. Amber’s own acting backfired and people reacted accordingly.

They won because they had TRUTH on their side. Or in other words, they were on the side of TRUTH. On the subject of opening & closing, maybe you could prepare and deliver what you consider an amazing o & c for us.

Camille and Johnny closeness during the trial was for one true respect for one another and friendship but it was also definitely a way to rile Amber up and draw out her violent abusive nature. They did just that.

There's more to this interview. There's a clip about the appeal. JD was attacked for 6 years on social media and with large rallys, and DV interviews! And most believed her. A great law firm should have many different type of fortes who work well together. Having a team collaboration is what truly made them seamless professionals.

Camille was an absolute boss and a true class act. Definitely someone to look up to. I also thought the other lawyers did an amazing job, like the one who mostly crossed the expert witnesses. He was a slayer and did an awesome job against those experts. They were a great team

I wouldn't say "a lot" of people believed Amber because it was clear they were the outliers, few and far between.

As a DV the survivor, there is nothing that makes me sadder than having people talk about what happened in my life as sordid and messy. Often times you get involved with a person who hides from you their real intent and their nefarious capabilities. You have such a horrible problem trying to believe in yourself again after this happens to you. In my situation I had friends who actually shunned me because it was as though I was dirty because this had happened to me. Not everyone, thank God. I believed in Johnny Depp because I saw all of the symptoms I had myself in him. And I don’t think these stories are sordid or messy. I think they are real life for many.

Peter I’m not a lawyer and 110% absolutely agree with you. I can only speak for myself but it was definitely not lost on me that this was a team effort. Yes Camille is getting a lot of attention, Ben is also getting some attention but it was for sure a team effort and they all did amazing. I can only imagine how much you have to be on your toes getting the evidence that’s needed when you have a witness on the stand, cross examining a witness, making sure all the documents are there and needed to be presented, needing to be quick on your feet to look up a legal document if needed on their computers etc.

I miss Johnny's legal team !!! I love those "touchy feeling photos (hug photos)" which gives the trial more relatable !!!

You talk about the looks between them but if you see Camile in all her interviews, she has this naturally sweet stare. The kind of look that makes a person be perceived as warm. Very Latin by the way. Even Ben Chew looked at Johnny as a protective fatherly figure. He even choked up a bit at his closing arguments when talking about Johnny's having his life back.

The jury invested so much of themselves to hear this case. I think having a sense that someone’s team is taking it seriously and has invested their own time in being organized and well prepared, comes off as respectful. It also sets the expectation that jurors take it seriously as well.

Commenting as I watch.. Camille responding to Gayle’s point of “horrific allegations on both sides”🧐 It was a Boss move when Camille responded the way she did “First time JD could tell his side.. it was important to him, GAYLE” Loved the use of G’s name at the end.. Boss move - got Gayle’s attention lol

Gayle continues to interpret the trial in this way: JD won bc he’s a movie star, he had a better team,it was televised, social media. . It’s clear in Gayle’s mind women are always a victim even if they are proven abusers. If someone was found to be defamed, why bring up the accuser, who lost, was vilified, not in the way that that was a reaction to her nastiness but that caused her loss (through biased social media,) Yeah, Tik TOk won this case and caused me, someone neutral about JD, had never seen a Pirates movie, say, This woman is nuts and this man has been put through hell. I’ve had it with MSM and their lazy , politically correct, I -live- in- an-elitist -bubble reporting. This attitude is ruining neutral journalism in this country and we will all lose.

Ben Chew and Johnny also had great chemistry and friendship together during the trial, stealing each others candy and supporting everyone.

Camille crossing Amber put her in a position of confronting the person who ruined his life. Camille was his voice to a great extent. This, of course, would cause a great emotional bond during the trial. I believe this is what we saw between them. A mutual goal.

NatalieLawyerchic had a video a few weeks back following the ACLU motions for reimbursement with someone who has been following a lot of the subpoenas throughout the case. She said that Jessica Meyers quashed a LOT of the subpoenas that AH filed in New York.

Camille's firm knew her talent's, and that's why they assigned her to this case. She was a rising star, in the firm, and was already on the "partner track" ! She's anything, but "green", in the legal business.

I have so much respect for all of these attorneys. And the attorneys covering the trial on RU-vid.

They were all incredible in the courtroom and always had my attention because they were clear and cut and never dropped the ball. They worked together and believed their client’s story and believed Johnny was truly a good man who didn’t deserve this and they fought for him and won. Incredible team and a hope for survivors and victims everywhere.

Why do you think it is that AH’s attorneys were not commenting for this interview? They certainly didn’t have a problem commenting everywhere else.

I wonder if gayle would have the guts to actually talk to Johnny himself.

Nothing about the way Jonny was treated for the last 5 to 6 years Nothing about the work he lost let a lone the harm it did to his family specially his son who was fairly young and you know what boys are like they keep it in after all that is his father Gianni‘s reputation was torn to shreds she did not care so long as she was okay. People would not have been so hard on her if she had not caused so much trouble and jumped on to the me to wagon it was all about her me I myself. This reminded me a bit like the Dolly Parton / Barbra Walters interview. Dolly was so gracious even when Barbara W was derogatory and demeaning. Gayle King sounded bitter and belittling to me. What is with all the talking about AGE of the lawyers. What next....talk about weight? Camille was professional.

Camille was very polite not to correct the deliberate bias of the hostess who obviously belittled the integrity and judgement of the jury and judge in an underhanded way by implying the verdict was questionable.... Her questioning whether Depp was harmed by malicious defamation was a contradiction of all the facts of the trial and verdict ..... She is blissfully unworried about destroying her own credibility ...

I am so glad, that there were camaras! WE learned so much, not just about law! I stay with my opinion: Camille is such a role model and as it seams all of the team is. I never believed this "romance bull***" you can have a bond with people differently than rromance! Nice people do so. I am happy for Johnny, becouse he got of this chain he had to pull for over 6 years. And you see his freedom in his eys.

Personally, I felt more like there was a mutual respect and more just as Camille described.

13:29 I loved the way Camille answered her when Gail cut her off in an obvious attempt to make Johnny look bad by haughtily implying that Johnny didn’t look all that innocent either. Even using Camille’s name when a journalist like her in particular would know that doing so almost always makes you come off sounding extremely condescending. So it’s not a good idea, especially when conducting an interview. But instead of pretending that she hadn’t notice the slight, Camille subtly clapped back. But she did it in a way that didn’t sound too antagonistic and that most people wouldn’t notice. But by Camille also using Gail’s name after giving her answer, and then saying it the way she did, she was able to tell Gail that she’d noticed her condescension and didn’t appreciate it. But I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised since it was her strength, refusal to take BS, and snarky clap backs (just to name a few) that made everyone love and respect her in the first place.

I hated how Gail conducted this interview. She should have been more complimentary of lawyers who obviously did an outstanding job regardless of their age. If I were them I would have challenged her on some of these demeaning questions.

Camille and Johnny have worked together for years. I'm sure they are friends and that's why she hugs him.

Agree with you Peter 100%. Words of wisdom. Also why doesn't Camille ever include Ben Chew. She mentions his name but not very often and just as the young lawyers did a great job so did Ben. I feel like he is being left out.

Teamwork makes the dream work! JD’s attorneys understood the assignment. Working for their client, vigorously and went smart, hard, and with the facts!!
