A memorial will be held for Burnsville officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge and Burnsville paramedic/firefighter Adam Finseth at Grace Church in Eden Prairie at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Officials say Shannon Gooden killed the three men while they were responding to a 911 call in his home and injured a fourth before fatally shooting himself.
The public is welcome at the memorial and thousands of people are expected to attend.
