Quick live jam on the Synthstrom Deluge, coupled with a few modules and FX.
The track is around 80% Deluge, with some extra samples looped or played on the fly from the BitBox modular sampler, giving more outputs to play with on the desk. The Model D is providing one of the basslines, and the rest of the kit is great to work with, but not exactly vital if you're more careful about sampling tracks with some nicer effects in the first place. I wanted to use my modified Revox tape delay for proper Dub vibes, but it flipped out and is back in the lab for repair. The RE-20 is a great alternative for echo, but hopeless as a spring.
Vocal is coming through a Belgrad filter - really impressive unit. I tend to use my modular kit more as effects units anyway on sends from the desk - I have no real oscillators on board.
The Deluge is not running V2 software yet, which is still in beta and due imminently. Something like this would be much easier to do with the new arrange mode coming in the firmware update so I'll take another look at this when it's released.
