I come from playing the 110CW X flex Steelfiber and felt bordi but very very stable. The MMT 125 Stiff is stable not like I wish but with more feel. In other words, the perfect shaft would be the feel of the MMT in the stable steel fiber 110 grams shaft. Do you get my point? hope it helps. Now my feel is one thing, and your feel is different so at the end of the day, trying is the only way to know if it works or not.@@JedBarish
Really ? I’m a ten hcp , had them for three months, now a six. The bullsh1t about they’re only for the very best is absolute box. You can afford them just get them.don’t be fooled you have to buy the shovel 790 if not at tour level.
Hey Trottie, I saw recently that most tour players use a 44.5 inch driver shaft or even shorter, meanwhile off the rack drivers are being sold at 45.75 inches. Do you think a shorter driver shaft would benefit most amateur golfers in terms of strike and accuracy off the tee?
Yes I prefer going with the tour std over the longer stuff. I think the shafts have gotten longer to help with speed, but I'm with you. Slightly shorter seems to help most AM's for strike.
If I hit my Mizuno MP-20 MB 7 iron 190 yard with a smooth shot. I’m guessing the the TW’s I would only hit a 7 iron 180. Would love to try the TW’s out, actually looking into get the MC’s.
You mentioned his dynamic lie at 66 for a 7 iron and you were saying you'd bend it more upright.. Should this not be coming in level at current 62 degree standard?
Curious as to why you reccommended 1° upright? Cameron hit a baby draw on almost every shot with the TW irons. A more upright lie would encourage a bigger draw.
We didn't go with it in the end for that very reason. I was considering it based on the horizontal swing plane that was coming out on the screen but I ended up on the same page as you and favored the right bias over the turn over
@@CybekCusaltitleist is actually the company that has different lie angles compared to most other manufacturers. Titleist tends to play about a degree more upright as their standard setting. It’s just what they prefer to do
@@trottiegolfboth excitement to hear and sadness. I’m in NYC - this was a great video and excited to hear he is playing well. Also, it’s freezing here and our golf season is now over. Keep up the great content trottie - you are appreciated sir!
could be but I'm going off Tour standard on a 6 being 61* then a 7 being 62* , I guess I'm semi old school these days but I reference everything off what I started on the truck with and also the old ruler V's the USGA ruler. Meaning 45.75 EOG in my speak would be 45" EOG
His wrist to floor looks about 5inches higher than yours. Are you sure +1/2'' over standard is enough. Like myself he looks to have long legs and a short torso. His arms are not that long in relation to his legs. They just seem that way because of his short torso. I'm 6'2'' with a wtf of 38'' and play +1.5'' long.
Trottie kinda comes off as a know-it-all and with quite a bit of ego too. I hate to talk shit about someone I don't personally know. But this video and the DOD video, he seems a little unlikable. Sorry mate
Like to think I do know most of it when it comes to fitting golf clubs. Should I talk about a different subject that I have no idea on…. Fishing maybe 🤣 …. No need to apologize either, it’s an educational , entertaining RU-vid channel , you’re not into me/it 🤷🏻♂️. No problem. We move on 👍🏻
Fact you labeled it "entertaining" means you are kinda full of your own ego lol@@trottiegolf Should probably let the viewers be the judge of that, mate.
