They aren’t actually doing this in London. If mosques couldn’t be near venues that sold alcohol there would be no mosques in London. The pubs were definitely here first.
when i first heard about that pastor, i was hoping that it would move me back to wanting to go to church. but no, it just confirmed that staying home is better (there are so many reasons why we chose to stay home, but the trump worship is one reason of many)
Could Mr. Duke have been owed damages for all funds spent establishing his business before the churches violated the boundary rules? Would a gun store have been acceptable? Or one of those adult superstores that I've heard proliferate in the South?
Booze is allowed in the Bible, drunkeness is frowned upon. I quit srinking to get drunk and smoking dope 32 yrs ago. I have had a few dozen accidents since. It's like medecine-to be used in moderation. No one wants a hangover! I remeber every hangover I've ever had in headachearama, vomitarama, noise sensitivityarama, blurriness, I always go Jehova the next day-no hair of the dog!
Some people hav no off switch so I support them going abstinent. Me, I prefer moderation. I want to stay in my lifelong love of booze. In a perfect world, we wouldn't need booze-we don't live in a perfect world. I'm born-to-lose autistic-life hands me a ton of endless disappointments! Don't ban booze for everyone just because you can't handle it.
Canada has a better history with booze having not gone down the road of prohibition. Still there are some dry Mormon, Hutterite, and Mennonite towns here and I think that's wrong. I wonder how many of them bootleg.
Where in the bible does it say you can't drink alcohol? Jesus drank wine, did he not? If the pastor is christian there is no reason he can't drink alcohol. That's his personal choice. What a crunt.
Jesus saves, but Moses invests! Also, we're well aware of how the concept of hell as a place of eternal torment developed from a few passing references to a garbage dump and a lake of fire in the Bible. Aka, cherry picking and extra-biblical imaginings.
