i once painted a campervan ambulance with boat paint and a roller, since it was fibreglass it looked the business ,painted the wheels and bumper with spray paint from the pound shop

You can charge leisure batteries from an EV car point with a custom hookup connector box and cable - but there's nothing commercially available, just a few hobbyist projects out there you can follow - it will literally take a couple of minutes to fill a few hundred amp-hour leisure batteries on an EV point - that has heating probs, so the DIY chargers step down to 16A to match old style connectors. May be there a while. Problem is that it breaches the terms and conditions of the charge point if your vehicle isn't a registered EV or Hybrid, and you can get some hefty fines. The Charge point exchanges data too, so it may recognise that your DIY charger isn't an EV- and those charger points are very temperamental, and go into fault mode easily, when there's nothing wrong with them. Big bonus with proper EVs is that you can heat electrically parked, several days at a times, and it's climate control - you don't get condensation in winter. But good luck finding EV points in many places you'll actually want to go wild camping.
Hi Mel I have used boat paint and white spirit and a gloss roller,if you rub the first coat down with 400 wet and dry and thin the second out the next day it comes out almost as good as spraying.

Well you two, I've followed you from the word go. I have gone from being amused at your lifestyle, with a certain amount of envy, to realising that your life choices are actually spot on. Things are going to get very tough in the next few years. Assuming you are not planning raising a brood of kids, I really think you have cracked the conundrum. There are all sorts of conspiracy theories doing the rounds at the moment, backed by the undeniable truth that it will be increasingly difficult to afford to live in our country. Borrowing money will become will become unaffordable, particularly at mortgage scale. You have negated this requirement, you are mobile if things get as bad in this country as I suspect they will. All success, strength and happiness to you in your future. If you see a clapped out Commer Dormobile behind you, it'll probably be me!!
Aww thank you I appreciate all your kinds words. This is exactly why I turned to vanlife. I knew from a young age that if I wanted to live freely I wouldn’t be able to live in a house. I financially cannot afford to rent, let alone buy. I have always tried to live minimally since growing up making ends meet and now that covid has had an effect and with rising prices I am so thankful that I am already used to thinking outside the box. My heart and passion for making videos on RU-vid is to show people and esp younger generations that you don’t have to live on the rat wheel and it’s also not this idealistic (Instagram illusion) world. It’s available to everyone and ultimately you are happier because you find out who you are and make connections with like minded people x
Just a quick question (I know you like a quick question). I noticed you only have one air con fan, on mine a V6 diesel there are two fans which vary the cooling speed by the second one kicking in. Does your Sprinter need two fans? Thank you for revealing the imperfect methods we all do and your corrective modifications. ps I never did receive my stickers, did I not request properly?
You can see what is going to happen with these charge station for cars! You will find them full of RVs charging their leisure batteries! Talk about queue at petrol stations! 😴🥱😵💫😬😬😬🙈👈🏿
Totally agree! If they want more electric vehicles on the road. They must install enough stations AND have larger parking bays that also support towing so that these can also charge but not block car charging. I just don’t think (like most things) the government have thought it through 🙄🤨🤣 x
