What a great memory! Creepy Crawlers was my all time favorite toy. I had the flower molds also but I was a tom boy. I can not believe you found all this stuff! LOL, my first car was an AMC Gremlin! I haven't seen one in a long time Brilliant what you did with the Oreos. I tried all of them except Mississippi Mud. Never saw them. It is great being a kid all the time. Thanks for sharing!

Man - I'm pretty sure he pays A LOT more for some of this stuff than you or me could / would. And it's great he shares the experience(s). I just watched his Lawn Jart episode before this. Those things were stupid dangerous. Circa 1977-78 I launched one about 20-25 feet in the air and it landed square on my 7 year old brothers head. Quite the dent left. I'm glad he wasn't hurt worse than he was.

Thank you so much for the memories. I had Incredible Edibles as well and when I saw the cinnamon flavor, I immediately recalled what the cinnamon flavor tasted like. I also had the army man set for Thing Maker. You put wires in their arms and bodies. Had the fun flower as well as the creepy crawlers. Wait, I had all of them. I'm remembering the pencil people. Those were my favorite toys. I spent hours upon hours making them. I forgot the lid looked like HR Puffinstuff.

Not only did I have most of the old toys you have shown, but there was also one other toy that was dangerous and I believe they banned at some point. And anyone that played with this toy, got hurt, but you sucked it up and kept playing with it... wait for it.... Clackers! Enjoyed and used the creeper crawlers kit forever. Thot it was the greatest 'toy' : )

Wow ! This is Amazing ! I LITERALLY BEGGED my Dad to get me this for Christmas....and he held out until the last present. When I opened it I was in awe of looking at the box the machine and everything. So first thing I did was try it....OH MY GOSH I absolutely hated it and never ate another....I would invite my friends over and they were excited about it to.... until they tried it ! 🤣🤣. I knew then I should of asked for the Creeple Peoples or Creepy Crawlers ! 🤣🤣.

I had this exact set!!! I can still remember the way they tasted kinda of like licorice? Red dye#5 was in everything back then.kool-aid, oscar meyer hotdogs & bologna, Jell-O, Trix cereal, Otter-pops, HI-C hawian punch.!!!! All the foods targeted for kids!? I got in Soo much trouble back then I couldn't sit still for 2 minutes. Always in the principal's office. With the crazy foods and the toys? Yep yep I was in trouble. ALOT! wouldn't change a thing .

I think he was referring to Red Dye #2. It was banned in the early 70's in the US, and replaced by Red Dye #40. Funny, the reverse is true in most of the rest of the world. Red #40 has raised concerns in Europe.
