Good idea. I have Dubler and a 505 on my shelf, not used much. Not a fan of this style of music, but I am sure I can apply the ideas to something else.
Awesome explanation! Thank you. So clear! I have the Duber 2 and I JUST got my 505. Awesome timing for this vid. Is there any way to do this mobile like connected using my phone or something? It does seem there was a slight delay where it dragged. I wonder how to get rid of that.
Hi! We're glad you enjoyed the video 🙌 Unfortunately Dubler 2 can currently only be used on Mac or PC Systems and we don't have an iOS or Android version. In terms of the delay, there will always be a tiny bit of latency with such an extensive looper-based signal flow, which is why it definitely takes some practise and good sound selection to see what works and what doesn't!
If you use a phone with a USB-C or Apple Multiport midi cable from the interface to that, and route midi signals to the phone/iPad to control midi instruments that way. Hope this helps.
I REALLY want to get my hands on Dubler 2, however I’m slightly concerned as to how good the guitar sounds are? There isn’t much out there that shows this side of software, other than the one video by you guys.
Hi! Dubler works as a MIDI controller that sends MIDI to any DAW you are working with. You can use it to launch any sounds, synths or samples you have loaded up in your session but it doesn't come with any of its own sounds that can be recorded. We're currently working on some new videos in which we use Dubler to control guitar software instruments - what kind of sounds or uses would you want to see for example?🎸
HI! thanks for sharing, I have a question: Would you configure it differently If im on a pc, I have my shure sm58 in the looping station -> in the audio interface -> usb to computer?
Hi! We don't currently offer a trial but we do have a 14-day refund window for the Dubler 2 software. You can find out more about our returns policy here: vochlea.com/legals/shipping-and-returns#return-policy
