She feel bad because she messed up and didn't know what's going on with her daughter. She allowed her to walk home at night and frequently walk the streets at night alone. It was also said her daughter wpuld leave the house and stay with friends without her calling her mom

I don't know much about this case at all. Did he abduct her under the pretence of being a Police Officer (like what happened to Sarah Everard in the UK)?

@@jonathanp89 he worked security on the side at this apartment complex. I'm pretty sure he had seen her before. She had a curfew to be back home at a certain time and he must have been working in her apartment complex. Her friend had her on Life360 and it showed her walking the path home then all of a sudden it took a 180° turn and started going 40 miles an hour the other way. Then she was found by an innocent bystander like 2 months later in the woods. Then the cops went out there at night gather her remains etc and the next day went back out found more stuff and then found his gun like 50 yards from where her body was located.

The age doesn’t matter. It’s like being a doctor, you have to like it and be committed. I have 3 cousins that were in the military, then were deputies since they were 18. To be an officer you have to be committed, that’s all what matters. He was committed to commit crimes thinking that was untouchable.

Finally someone who gets it. I've been saying this for a long time. The decisions they need to make are too important to be left to anyone imo under the age of 25 at the very minimum and 30 would be just as acceptable.

His victim had just turned 16; that wasn’t taken into consideration by him.

I think the DA knew exactly what she was saying with that. She was repulsed by him, but she did her best to make it a fair trial so they could successfully throw the book at him. I couldn’t do her job.

Excellent statement...I also felt the prosecution got it a bit wrong saying she was snatched or scooped up. We know from witness testimonials ..victim had seen and knew if him..she had been in the friend group in the complex at the pool..the monster was known as the complex courtesy cop. I think she willing got into the truck on the busy road. Its never safe to walk as a lone female unfortunately. Never get into anyone's car..never open your front door to anyone you don't know. Hli believe he had planned to do this to someone...Miss Bates escaped him..perhaps the blonde girl did...perhaps the 13 Yr old runaway did too...that night he was extra angry with the live-in girlfriend. The sentence is satisfying...

​​@@justineajsmith7709 that's a good theory. Susana's neighborhood from the apartment gates is literally a 5-6 minute walk. Straight-shot. She would not have had to cross a street. She was last seen alive at the King David Community center which is the halfway point. Like you said, they were definitely familiar with each other, he tried to "give her a ride" at least twice that we know of. His final attempt she was alone, she just smoked so her defenses were down. He probably lured her into the truck offering more pot or edibles and she agreed to just that. I have a hard time believing he intended to murder her when he picked her up. His intentions were purely sexual. I think that at some point they may have stopped somewhere, started smoking...then he forced himself on her. She fought back and probably attempted to leave. He mentioned his career in the interrogation as something that is very important to him....he knew that a 16-year old girl reporting him for attempted rape would be the end of his career and likely incarceration. His intentions then changed to silencing her in death.

I said the same thing, coward will take to easy way out.

And that's when the real justice begins, he will see God. The true Judge.
