Total speculation. Nobody can say for sure if she was or wasn’t sober. She might just be awkward. She didn’t stagger and her speech wasn’t slurred. Police officers are given the right to use their own discretion. If he didn’t smell alcohol on her and she didn’t give any clear and undeniable signs of intoxication, there was no need to conduct a FST. He definitely didn’t get fired or even reprimanded for this.

He had probable cause at literally every interaction with her, employees literally said she was yelling at them, and he definitely had probable cause when she called 911 and did the whole "oh I'm calling the police, he said he is the police"

@@karenbartlett1307 Just because she's walking straight doesn't mean shes not drunk there are plenty of drunk people that can walk straight. She, however, like the other people in the comments stated, lied about not being at the party (who randomly wears a dress to come to pick up friends when you were at home) is slurring her words, called the police for no good reason and missed the call button multiple times, and she wasn't wearing her seat belt. Also, she said they were out for brunch ( breakfast and lunch) it looks like it's after dinner time to me.

@@Nettahasleftthebuilding He should have given her a sobriety test to find out, because there was plenty of indication that she wasn't perfectly straight. She probably didn't smell like she'd been drinking, though, because that is enough evidence that a field sobriety test should be done. I don't know why he didn't. Maybe he was smitten by her looks. (But bars close at two a.m. and it's common practice to go get "breakfast" after they close, for people who frequent bars or go "clubbing", as they say.)

Andi Lawson since she didn’t slur her words & might not have smelled like alcohol, also had no containers of alcohol in the car, the officer wasn’t really allowed to arrest her for a DUI because he did not legally have a suspicion of her being intoxicated Just can’t go around asking random people to do sobriety tests lol, the laws also depend on state to state about what officers can and can’t do to determine someone’s intoxication

+Georgio Henderson I wish my parents had been as naive as you and this cop. If all I had to do was avoid stumbling and slurring I would have never been in trouble as a teenager. At least the cop has an excuse, he was close enough to hope for nookie. you on the other hand would make such a wonder boss/teacher/parent...
