@@markusalgorytmiczny9787 lol, are you that dumb to not know Lil Wayne and Nick Johnas guitar memes? This guy literally moved away because of you people.
@my name idk I don't hate hip hop, but let's agree to this. Metal is more energetic than hip hop. You just can't not get aggressive and energetic while listening to double bass, screaming vocals, heavy guitar riffs and even clean vocals.
We're littered with wannabe rappers that's why because it takes less talent to rap into a microphone with fake music in the background then learn instruments
I hate having to dumb my brain down to say yes there is something unique and skillful and about rap and EDM. But my god even as a minority living in Los Angelas metal and classical speaks way more to everyone. Metal disregards skin color and what’s popular to instead make music for anyone. And as someone who has made edm I can say that playing the guitar or even having a band playing a full song is way more difficult. long live metal for classical musics sake 🤘🤘🤘
2:22 look at the crowd. Phones out, arms crossed, some hands out. Idk rap has like no energy. You literally just watch a single dude spit into a microphone and walk around stage.
KoreoBace you’re extremely ignorant if that’s what you think. Like by a lot. That is so incredibly disrespectful to not only black culture but an insult to those who created the art form. If you seriously think all rap is like what you described then that tells me one thing, you’ve literally not delved into rap/hip hop more than a few top 10 hits.
@@xpropriation8505 In what sentence did he ever mention race. Congratulations, the ignorance makes rap look even worse. And everything he said is true. One of the very few ways to become famous with rap, especially mumble rap nowadays, takes networking instead of actual music. I have a friend who creates rap, and I personally like his shit better than the other famous rappers people listen too. Most modern rap is basically talking with rhymes and a cheaply computerized produced beat that is boring af to listen too. And don't get me started on how metal completely outclasses any kind of rap in live shows. Especially bands like slipknot. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TSfSGIr8VJo.html
This is why I love metal they're really passionate about their music they practice their instruments for years and keep things naturals, rappers on the other hand they like to use their computers
Metal has the advantage of having more people on stage. Seeing a rapper on stage is bound to be a little less energetic than a whole band playing instruments.
I like both but I only like old school rap (1984-2005 to be specific) but Rock/metal/punk is WAYYYYYYYYY better than this Gay modern era rap so METAL FUCKIN WINS BY A LONG SHOT!!!!!
Guys: You can put Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and all the other 90s' rappers on the same stage with a metal band and I'd still be there for the show. But all these 2019 soundcloud "rappers"... nahhhhhhh
Rap and heavy metal are similar in how both value speed and getting a lot heard in a short time. But rap seems to emphasize the lyrical aspect of music through heavy rhyming while metal cares more about the instrumental aspect.
What's really bad is I've yet to see an actual metal act like Gwar or Slayer or Lamb of God or Cannibal Corpse shows that are just so wild you would never imagine it unless you were actually there
Sepultura, Sarcofago, Archgoat, Immortal, Emperor, Thy Infernal, Winter of Apokalypse, Drawn and Quartered, Blackthorn, Moonspell, Anorexia Nervosa, The Sins of the Beloved, Tristania, Type O Negative...
Old Rap is like a handcrafted pocket knife. Really good and sturdy. New rap is like a pocket knife. It’s just an alloy pressed into a blade. Metal is just a fucking war hammer and a machine gun.
Most rappers are extremely lazy when it comes to live performances. They have to have their studio track recording in the background while only partially rapping in real life. Lil Pump actually said he wanted to see a mosh pit one concert LMFAO
1 Nightfall -Blind Guardian 2 Valley of the Damned -DragonForce 3 Phobia - Kreator 4 Power -Helloween 5 Hallelujah Goat -Volbeat 6 Another Angel Down -Avantasia I don't know the last one, sorry
You could have chosen better metal bands but really doesn't matter because metal live is very difficult. It's more than just vocals. It's an entire band keeping it tight. light shows and pyrotechnics are usually part of the performance. Rappers would never spend good money on a stage show and never are in sequence.
metal fan forever but listening to rap without autotune is disturbing u can basically let a child start rapping and make it better than any other rapper but still metal is best and always will
