Regardless of her guilt or innocence, her lack of assistance provided to law enforcement during the search for her children and the fact that she actively attempted to elude law enforcement while her children were still missing leads me to feel that as uncomfortable as it maybe she needs to be in the courtroom as all evidence is presented.

Hey Peter, just thought I would let you know that in the Letecia Stauch case, the judge actually did not tell the jury that evidence only comes from the witness stand. He discussed that with both the prosecution and the defense and said that he originally wanted to say that but then read some case law and determined that the jury does have the right to take everything into account and he didn't want to steer the jury in one way or another so he actually just IGNORED the question and didn't answer it for the jury. Just wanted to let you know for future reference.

My opinion about Vallow not being present during the testimony about her kids is that whether she is guilty of the charges or not she deserves to sit there and hear every bit of testimony. Why? Because her children were missing for months and she was living it up in Hawaii with Chad. She didn't return to attempt to find them. If someone else murdered them, she needs to face that she left them vulnerable to whomever did so.

One of my most favorite jobs was being a victim advocate in both family and criminal courts. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to listen and be there for trials and court cases. The different styles of attorneys, judges and professionalism and just basically the atmosphere. To also have had a judge to be an adjunct teacher in one of the CJ courses I took was also so awesome! Your lives here bring me back to that familiar place I enjoyed so much !!

@@gleefulme9617 I am not sure all I know is how they died is gruesome and evil and I live in the same state she does which I wish I didn't we've had 3 murders all within the last 3 years and it's awful (not by the same person/people we have this one of Tammie JJ and Tylee in 2019 we have a little boy who went missing in 2021 and police suspect that he is deceased unfortunately and then we have the Idaho 4 homicide at the end of last year

What’s cruel is those two kids dead bodies in a pet cemetery while their mother is living the free life. What’s cruel is Tylee’s charred, mutilated and unrecognizable remains in a melted green plastic bucket. The way Lori didn’t seem to have a care in the world is cruel. Now she has to pay the consequences and see the evidence of what her actions, or the actions of her husband Chad Daybell.

Lori had been absent and chose not to participate the entire time. Then, they filed to have charges dropped due to her right to speedy trial being infringed. It's a game.. and this lady deserves to sit and look at what she did!!

She laughs. She smiles and can appear nonchalant and impervious to the horrors that have transpired. Strange woman. Yet now Lori is falling apart as the brutality/horror of what she was involved in stares back at her, literally, in the face. How could she not have been involved in the demise of her children!? If the Judge had let her not appear in court today, he would not have been forgiven.

Like prosecution said it was all about money sex greed and power. Anyone going against her and Chad were going to be on the "dark list" aka hit list and were killed or attempted to be killed no way they can explain their crazy greedy stupid behavior they left too much evidence.

Daybell needs to be held accountable for what happened to those children and Tammy. And that should include having to sit through ALL of the testimony and ALL of the evidence. I get the "presumed innocent" thing and all that, but she was posing and grinning on a beach in Hawaii TWO WEEKS after her new husband's wife was murdered and less than two MONTHS after her children were murdered. If MY children had been missing for almost two months, the last thing on my mind would be getting married on a beach in Hawaii, let alone grinning and playing the "glowing bride" and all that. Besides, I think she's as sane as any of us.

I can’t sit through most trials. Surprised myself being glued to the Johnny Depp trial but I’ve always believed he was innocent. I was emotionally invested. I have known a lot of people who try to claim drug addiction, depression, etc, to delay prosecution. This isn’t new. However, loving parents who have a child murdered tend to sit through gruesome photos, videos, etc. no matter how painful when the accused is being tried in court. This woman is only about her own self.

Peter, at 29:26 someone asked what is double jeopardy? You answered it attached once jury is sworn in. But I think that the poster was meaning what if there was a mistrial due to this issue. Would it invoke them not being able to have another trial. THAT would/would not attach as to if they could retry I think was their question if on appeal, they said she was sleeping, or that she should have been allowed to vacate (Neither of which an appeal would change the verdict). Perhaps someone will ask next time again to clarify.

I think she should have to sit through the testimony. She knew for months that Tylee and JJ were dead. What did she think had happened to this kids? Lori was just being Lori. If she thought those bodies were zombies, it shouldn’t bother her. According to her allegedly, she was doing the right thing. If Larry Woodcock can sit through this testimony, so can Ms Lori.

If she wasn’t physical there at the time of death. I think she knew what was going to happen with all the murders in her life. So she needs to see what the outcome of her children being buried, and for having her brother kill Charles Vallow.
