This was EXTREMELY useful when the power went out and we were taking shelter at the lake. The ability to stream this from a phone on the RU-vid channel when we did not have access to a TV kept us informed of the threat and when it had finally passed. Thank you very much.
ROGERS IS LOCATED INCORRECTLY ON THEIR MAP. Where it shows Rogers is actually Lowell. Rogers is directly west of Prairie Creek. This kind of mistake can end up costing lives! Somebody needs to fix this! The tornado was trouncing Rogers at 1 hour 44 minutes into the video, but the map shows Rogers several miles south of where it actually is. HUGE mistake!
I really appreciate the 5 Newslive staff and their live weather forecast tracking down the whole tornado in Rogers. One of my sons lives there, this made feel informed with less fear ❤️🩹from Puerto Rico.
Seems Roger’s was barely mentioned till after it hit Roger’s. No real warnings ahead. No debris showing before it hit Roger’s. So it just must of just dropped into Roger’s!
It's because 5 news doesn't have rogers in the right spot on their map. They kept saying the rotation was north of rogers, when in reality it was right in the heart of rogers.
our family was prepared, nobody was hurt. Mostly due to us paying attention to all the weather reports. First time in my lifetime that i can recall, that we had major storm damage in benton co. I think because of the dedicated forecasting and weather systems, cell phone tech to warn us all, it saved lives. homes can be fixed, cars can be replaced..people, and pets..not so much.
My kids live in Gentry, Arkansas which is very Northwest, Arkansas north of Siloam and got lucky with their home not being damaged but they said the Chicken Farms near them got damaged pretty good.
Yeah, intimate threat change real quick. I had a feeling the moment everyone was live that it was going to hit us. When it got to Arkansas, I made my mom leave Bentonville.
did he ever confirm to tornado on the ground from the radar imagery? was wandering if there has to be a debris ball on radar like the Mayfield tornado to confirm
