I was thinking that the first half day of cross examination went so well for Cohen that it was like a pressure relief valve. Hopefully he feels a bit less stress going into cross on Thursday and will do just as well on the stand.

I think Mr. Cohen was basically a decent person who fell under the influence of Donald Trump. When he was punished for his misbehavior, he took it sincerely to heart, repented thoroughly, and was reformed. It seems like a Christian evangelical being Reborn, or some types of Mahayana Buddhists experiencing the Buddha Vision Samadhi. What the equivalent is in Judaism I don't know, but my ignorance doesn't matter. So many others are still caught up in the toils of Trump's lies, but I trust Mr. Cohen and wish him the best.

I think we all have PTSD from having Trump as a president and the possibility that it could happen again. I know I get depressed often just thinking of it. As a senior I worry about women’s health rights for the future generations. Life with Joe Biden has been so much calmer and better because he actually gets things done, no President is perfect but Trump will drag us into the depths of hell if he gets in again, worse than his first term. The stairwell was a high point. I also loved the train -- the drama and immediacy of it, the flutter when someone sat in the empty seat next to Karen, Karen's hushed tones as she carried on, while trying to be courteous to her seat mate... I totally agree with you, KAren about deliberations. I was forewoman on a death penalty case. It was an intense, serious, and complex experience. Everyone took it very seriously. Opinions shifted over the course of the discussion. Although most of the case was simple, and the prosecutors made a very serious evidence error that impacted their credibility. Popock and KFA; it’s the essence of these podcasts to be on the spot wherever and whenever. Bad connections and sound are part of the magic and allure that captivate audiences. Imagine if this format had existed during Watergate… not everyone read Bob Woodward and the movie came later with Redford and Hoffman. By doing all of these Hot Takes and such, ya’ll are scripting an analogous piece of cinema. Eventually this ‘first’ will be a film. Each and every living room and TV series set podcast will be scoured for lines.

Nope. I never cease to be amazed & angered by how many so-called "patriots" on our side think it's smart to cower before these domestic terrorists. NEVER! There is far more to be said for forcing these goons to face the realities of a functioning society under the rule of law. For upstanding citizens to slink away in silence after doing their duty allows Trumpsters & Q-publiKKKans to continue to believe that their law of the jungle has validity and holds sway. Oh Hell No. Nothing says, "WE ARE THE MAJORITY AND WE RULE HERE" than for these jurors to walk out into public life with their heads held high for doing what their sense of civic duty told them was right according to the laws governing our society. THAT is democracy and the justice system. We the People , the Majority, should never hide from dimwitted thugs and bullies -- on the contrary. They'll run to hide under the rocks from whence they came when they find themselves outnumbered and shouted down by actual patriots who call out and loudly prohibit their criminality.

Were Karen to read people's comments, as she sometimes does, it could be painful to her in ways you can't even imagine to read your rude, mean words. Perhaps you'll reconsider, and make an edit.
