Thanks for another great stream at Lakenheath. Ted's salmon delivery on board the 767 to start with before the 48th FW appeared to empty the hangars! Unfortunately, the rain stopped play at the end but a good day nonetheless and with a hint of something more later... ! Thanks again Nikos and Ted.
Well what can I say this has to have been one of the busiest day ever at RAF Lakenheath. The first plane to land was Ted's weekly supply of Salmon. The runway was more like the M25 there were millions of them from 7.30am onwards F15's and F35's everywhere unfortunately it started to rain which affected the planes coming back as the base was covered in thick fog and the rain was coming down really heavily I felt so sorry for Nikos and Ted but that is how Nikos is he always stays until the end a hero until the last no matter what the weather. Brave soul Ted will have to make sure Nikos gets a hot toddy tonight after the F22 Raptors are all parked up and the car park is emptied and he can leave for home. It was very nice to see Reggie, KC, Red Ted. Well done everyone
Oiii oiiii Debbie thank you so much. It was an amazing (and long) day for the TCS but it was so worth every second. It was such a busy day and of course the part 2 featuring the F-22 Raptors. What a great day from the salmon delivery to Raptors. Ooohhhhh yeah
Can't get down there this year But had the KC46's go over close enough to have a look at them with bino's - 20:30 and RCH046 ( last one on flight24 ) has just gone over at 15k ft with it's undercarriage down already ? - i'm up near Doncaster ! Never seen any planes so high and early do this before ? .
