I love this! I have just begun to seriously play around with herbs and pull them into my workings, candles, etc. I feel like the upright and reversed meanings on the cards could almost serve as correspondences for the energy that you want to engage or dispel in your magical practice.
Thank you for this. I just got this deck a few days ago. I looked up the pronunciations of each herb and taped a little sheet into lid so I could easily see it. I'm enjoying using this deck for myself. I saw it shown by another you tuber this past Monday, immediately ordered it, and received it Wednesday. Definately going on my list! ...just looking at the Mugwort card though with Artemis I thought Athena was traditionally the Goddess that was more associated with the owl of wisdom...though I know Artemis is iassociated with all animals,... anyway just thought that was interesting 🙃
I haven't done much with salts but from my understanding they're typically for protection or cleansing? I'm hoping for your insight on this. Also! I use that herbal alchemists handbook! I have the ebook though. And I have mixing essential oils for magic By Sandra Kynes. Love these books!
I don't know what other people use them for, but what I use them for depends on the salt, sometimes its a protective salt that could set boundaries (like on window sills, etc), some are to bring in the energy, so for seasonal salt if I am doing a reading or working and want to bring in the energy of Fall I can take a pinch of my fall salt and sprinkle it my reading or working area, if it is an ancestor salt I will sprinkle it before doing a reading or just to honor them before lighting a candle, etc :)

Ooooo! Ancestor salt?! What's that used for??! I also use herbs in conjunction with astrology etc in my practice. I'm very interested in this ancestor salt you speak of!!!! I respect and understand not sharing personal whole recipes but if you're willing to shed some light on this I would be elated 😍 especially with Samhain coming up.
