Dave, You ARE the best person to explain this! You totally helped me to understand a little boy I tutor. Thank you for putting this video up.

Thank you, Dave! Great explanation. I had been treated for Dyslexia, since grade school. But I graduated high school before Asperger's was recognized in the USA. I have taken a couple of tests that suggest that I am on spectrum. Your struggle is very familiar to me. I was looking for information on people who have both conditions and found your video. Even though we are wired differently, we must push ahead.

Thank you for this video:) my son is 12 years old and has Asbergers with severe dyslexia. He also has been diagnosed with "below average working memory" so it seems to be a battle ground in his mind with all three. He has a great photo memory on things he's interested in and Minecraft is the best invention for games! I just found your channel and have subscribed. Thank you 😊

I am glad that this video helped you. I know that when we are given things we have no interest in its in one ear out the other.

I have the same thing and I love to write novels. So I have to struggle with dyslexia while I doing something I love. I am also really shy because off my aspergers.

I’m still very scared of things and not sure how to approach it. I welcome it because what else am I gonna do but fuck this sucks.

I mean it makes total sense now but I feel not better entirely. I thought my life was rare enough as it is

Life was tough enough but damn well maybe it’s good for something. Maybe there’s some super power I had never found because I thought I was just weird and dumb. If it wasn’t for that car accident and concussion messing my life up just as I was getting comfortable in my own space for a few years i wouldn’t have cared so much about my brain. I was happy alone and getting good jobs

I believed some school friends that people need people and my dream of Alaska with books, computer and guns was weird. I’m 27% Native American too.

I’m not enjoying this revaluation. It’s keeping me up. The dyslexia was cool and made reading more approachable after awareness but this is a lot different. I need a book or something. Jesus...
