Question so NAFLD is also correlated with insulin resistance, which is what the Pancreas is responsible for. So can Non Alcohol fatty liver be do to an issue with the Pancreas? if not, how can 6 a year old have NAFLD? I see that with liver elevation, blood work also comes with imbalanced hormones and high glucose. There has to be more than just overweight or weight issues. Imbalance hormones cause hypothyroidism and slow to no metabolism, which makes weight almost impossible to lose without starving or starting a regime of fasting. To lower blood sugar and give the body a break to hopefully reset. Also, many vegetables and fruits turn into sugar, and without enough insulin from the pancreas, the cycle starts again. Following the pattern backwards can give a more accurate diagnosis, correct?
