I always say when you give to others, don’t expect to be reciprocated and truly give from the heart. I can honestly say that when you do that, the universe somehow opens up and gives you blessings in return.
Good message. To piggyback on that I think we all need to be humble as expats. Lower prices attract us to Southeast Asia, but those lower prices are often the result of workers earning less, having fewer if any benefits and employers not having to pay into unemployment insurance, workers comp insurance and social security insurance etc. We can't fix the world and bringing our retirement income into these countries is beneficial, but I think we need to be humble and understand why were able to benefit from living in a developing country.
