I would love to hear about things you recommend doing & places for shopping in Busan! I recently came to Korea for a concert, and the weather was miserable and it was such a last minute trip that I only stayed in Seoul, but would love to branch out next time I visit (which will hopefully be soon) 🥰
It is my last day in the States before I move to Japan and I'm so happy this video came out today. I'll be living alone for the first time away from my wife and family and I'm really looking forward to it. BTW, it's so good to see Cleo being so energetic and happy since getting her vision fixed!! Also, hack for your lack of bread knife, make sure it's super sharp and then heat it up! If your sink has super hot water, run it under for a few seconds until it's hot, dry it off, then slice. Otherwise, boil some water and use that. It helps a lot! But for sure make sure your knives are honed regularly and sharpened about once a year (you can do this yourself, they sell sharpeners on amazon).
Cleo is sooo funny. My question for your Q&A is how did you make friends in a place that is so different from your home? any struggles with that? would also love a Korean language learning update!
Oh yes, the stuffing everything in the cupboard and closing the door syndrome🤣 definitely getting on top of this will help as it will look so nice when you open the door, no hunting and moving stuff around.
It's currently winter in South Africa. South African winters are not as cold as South Korean winters. Please check the weather before you leave and pack accordingly. You will need good quality layers. If you are coming to the Cape, it is the rainy season, you will need a good light raincoat. You have to check the weather. if you are in the North, it's cold and dry, but there's sun. Please check the weather.

So many things I love in this vlog! From Chloe’s personality, to an immersive movie experience (so cool!) but my favorite is the Korean dessert recipe. Can’t wait to see more recipe ideas and try making them myself!! We have a Korean style bakery in our city but it’s so far and gets sold out early in the morning. I notice you always have good portion control. You mentioned in an earlier vlog doing things to lose weight. Would love to see a vlog on how you manage portions and health!
Oh! That’s so cool. I’m from South Africa and it’s cool that you’re visiting. I started watching you 5 years ago when you moved to SK as I just finished uni and wanted to do the same! Then the pandemic happened and my plans fell through so I wasn’t able to go but I carried on watching you as I enjoy your relaxed, calming style of content! I hope you enjoy the safari! Also, side note, we got those 4Dx cinemas about 10 years ago. It started as a separate entertainment thing where you could have this short (10min) experiences with the movement and smell and show works and just pre-pandemic, a lot of cinemas started including it for the full screenings. It’s not super popular as only the big cinema houses have one and they’re pretty expensive compared to 2D or plain 3D tickets.

Seriously the movies experience has improved so much not only with the seats but with all the 3d imax etc…but now you are telling me they even make it realistic as if you are in it? Holy crap…I can only imagine how much they will change in the states if that were to happen, it ain’t cheap going to a movie date anymore. How much do they charge for that experience in Korea out of curiosity?

Oh Adrienne! We must see more of the book cafe!! More = show us around so we can get a feel for the layout, offerings, and seating (more private and more open, etc.). And show us the view from the windows . . . So cool!! Also, love seeing your little fur baby so happy; what a little cutie. For the 5-year video, I'd like to see at least some short shots of your classroom and of each of your apartments (spend a little time on the layouts so we can move through the 5 years of home vibe with you). The cherry blossoms were beautiful to see in one of your older videos, too. Trips to Jeju (spelling?) had gorgeous scenery and good cafe's, too. I literally just watched Living Phase 2's South African game drive vlog. We have 4dx theaters near where I live. Did you ever go to the Busan Film Festival? I agree that frozen bread or roll dough saves so much time. I love the smell as it bakes. Have you visited the DMZ? Did your boyfriend do military service? Do you participate in the expat Facebook groups for meetups, clothing swaps, kitchen items (bread knife)etc.? Are there many influencer events in Busan? Will you look for anything special in South Africa to bring home?

When your body doesn't regulate the temperature it is actually really hard to be in hot weather 🌡️😢 When you start feeling dizzy and nauseated those are first signs of heat stroke 😔 Lots of water and perhaps a neck fan would be a good thing to have if you have to go outside.
Love that you will be adding how to make desserts in Korea. What a great idea. Our bakeries in the States don't compare to the ones you have shown us in Busan and Seoul area. Can't wait to see what you do next.
When in South Africa..where are you going? Will you be visiting Cape Town? I never been but I just saw a while back vlogs from UK Vlogger that moved to CT and made vlogs there so I wish to see CT myself and climb Lion;s Mountain. Also through that vlogger I discovered a friend of his that he is half Polish half South African and his dad was born in my city in Poland. How crazy is that and few years ago he and his dad came to Poland for sightseeing and visit the family. So I get to see my city from different POV :D
I also don't really like going to the movies. I have a hard time sitting still and watching something on a screen for that long. But, I know in Sweden we also have the 4DX theaters. I went to one many years ago, and I know the seats moved, but I don't remember if they sprayed water or had scents.

They only have the padded bras where I am for some reason, I don't need extra padding 😅 I need support and it has to be front hook because may hands are normally super numb and it's hard to hold on to them...
Hi Adrienne! I’ll be graduating from UNCC this fall, and I’m set on returning to Korea asap lol. I loved it there sm when I was an exchange student last year. Do you think it’s worth it to return to Korea with my bachelors degree (psychology) and teach English so I can have income, or follow my heart to language school? I was also debating if I should continue with modeling as I have previous experience. I’m so torn! 😓 Do you mind sharing your wisdom? If you have the funds to come here for a couple semesters and do language school - 10000% do that!!!! You will have the chance to make more friends and immerse yourself into korean culture much quicker and easier IMO. Teaching is a good experience but it is HARD work and tiring as well. A lot of teachers come here and get super stressed for the first several months having to adjust to the new work conditions, getting sick from kids constantly etc. Both will be a good experience but personally i think you should come as a student
5 years is a good amount of time living there. How do you like the Asian culture compared to yours? I'm half Asian and the expectation from your parent's are high when it comes to success. When I was growing up, they're not as affectionate. I'm also half Italian and they seem more affectionate.

I had my music on. the vibes were there :D Now I got to see new vlog popping up here. Yesterday I got to celebrate my dad's birthday. Since he likes Sushi I ordered a big plate of it for us 4. *my dad, my mom, my sister and me. My grandma do not like those things or any food that isn't traditional Polish food.
