Great summary. The only things that I “disagree” with are utilities and specialists in hospitals. I’ve never had over 100€ for utilities, even in winter, even in 70+m2 apartments. As you said, it varies a lot, but the ranges you mentioned seemed a bit higher end. As for specialists, I’ve usually gotten to them within a month. I don’t think that’s very long to wait, even comparing to other countries I know about. Again, this may vary a lot depending on clinic etc. But otherwise a great summary!
3 5 years ago normal soviet type 2 room apartments cost 30000 euros in top 4 5 cities, now its 50 60k... and new apartments 5-10 years old cost around 80 100k... prices are absolutely insane considering most people get 500 600 euros per month. We need new crisis to balance prices again like in 2008 2009

Hi 🙂 I mentioned daycare prices in the end of the video, it's just that in Lithuania all pre-school care is called kindergarten (age from 1,5 to 6). English is usually taught from 2nd grade, but that depends on each school. There also are English lessons in kindergartens for an extra cost (for older preschoolers).
Economical situation in Lithuania is not so good. Every second Lithuanian works in other European countries like GB, Poland, Germany and so on. For instance, my brother has been working in GB for several years and absolutely doesn't want to come back.
NYC: the average I would say is 2000 for 1 bedroom for an average apartment but you get a 3 bedroom for 2500 on the edge of the city. So I would love Lithuania just need passive income and start or invest in a business.

This is not really true, most places in Kaunas are under 500 and the utilities will most likely be under 100 euros. As for the parking, if you have to pay for it - suspect a bit of a rip off going on.
You can enter the country without vaccine but need to isolate (depends from which country you come). Although all social life activities require the pass, even most grocery stores require. The rules for arrival change often, and you can find them in the official government website
The welcome cigarettes cost only 4 € to € 7, at least look at the store, not just up to 4 €, cigarettes are even more expensive. And the bust costs depends on the district and what height, and all the other. Bustors cost in Vilnius more expensive than in Kaunas. And the food and other essential goods are expensive in the store, buying more Lithuanians to shop shopping or they go to Poland for shopping for food and minimum goods. Offer even good go to the shop look at a different store price, and the store even prices for each store.

Prices vary too much! It depends on the location, size, build quality. Also one can barely find houses inside cities. You can check the most popular ad website en.aruodas.lt to get the idea of current prices for the type of house you're interested. By the way, even those prices I mentioned back in July have changed a lot. With today's inflation, new lack of building materials the prices bloat a lot.
Low income results in lower inflation in a strong economy. With absolutely great upside potential. My dream is to have dual citizenship with an EU passport. hmmm
@@Leon-ld2rb Previously some of these insurance taxes were based for companies to pay, the government changed this recently, so basically people are getting the same, but the numbers are on them. About business, it's not an easy answer, because it depends on the type of business. But there is 21% VAT and 15% profit tax, there are more taxes depending on the type (dividends, real estate, special insurances for employees, etc.)
