What a wonderful documentary! Tracy really lays it out. It is almost impossible to live in Hawaii for its original inhabitants and lots of others. Number wise, we here in the SF Bay Area have about as bad a problem as Hawaii does. The "houseless" are not the problem. Like immigrants trying for a better life than in Central South America the houseless are criminalized, men ,women and children (& their dogs and cats). The present system doesn't work & we simply throw them away. How much talent and brain power go wasted? Thank you for running this. Unlike us, the Hawaiians were displaced from their own land a long tme ago and the US appologized for that in 1993. But not much has been done for the Hawaiians who lost everything when the Hawaiian Kingdom was overthrown and the queen imprisoned. Shame!

HIP Cribs 😂 I love how they still have humor. The world is cruel to them but you can tell they are not homeless but houseless fr. They keep their faith. You do what you gotta do. And to stay sane yeah I agree this is necessary. I was surprised. Just hope blessings came their way by now because they seemed like good people. From 2014-2023, how are they now?

sorry unko but you cannot just live in the streets and decide not to go into a shelter. you are homeless, you have no options. whether you like it or not you have to do what you have to do, and people will always oppose the houseless "polluting" their neighborhoods and streets. most just dont want to get clean and live under supervision, I understand that but again, you are houseless so you got to do what you got to do. I have seen the hawaii houseless population encroach on my neighborhood and my daughters get harassed and in fear for their lives from some of these houseless people. how do you explain this?
