Actually the freedom of not being tied down to a location makes it easier to rest, especially when you are not paying an arm and a leg for rent or mortgage payment.

If you invest in the the right bed products that’s a big one the other is finding a safe place to pick to lay for the night…everything cost something in this world I think it’s better then just watching tv or sleeping it keeps you on you’re toes and on the go

@@clearnewview Oh yeah that's true! Definitely makes it easier to rest but i imagine despite the cost savings it can get rough even with the best bedding but also general safety concerns of sleeping at night without getting robbed but i guess that would vary from country to country. But yeah agreed with OP she's definitely a tough woman.

Yeah I probably would have given the death stare too that's kind of nasty if it would have been a paper plate that's different and I know it can be washed in the dishwasher what not but it's just kind of a little bit disrespectful and well nasty especially in front of others

She has been driving on that check engine light for months now. I'm glad she finally fixed it.

AND I'm so glad you're back in your Prius. While the 2022 Sienna hybrid seems like serious luxury and roominess, new cars outgas an enormous amount of chemicals that are carcinogenic and bad for your health. It's one thing if you drive your vehicle only occasionally but quite another if you spend the amount of time in it that you do. I would wait several years before buying a used one because again the chemicals in these newer vehicles are really, really bad. Always wishing you good health and happiness!

I have the problem of leaving my DGCaravan running, my Beagle can put the windows down. She's so loud when I walk away from the car, she attracks much attention. I made foam barriers for the doors, to prevent her from stepping on the controls, however they are not sufficient. The signs may help. I hope so. Thank you for the idea.

i live in FL an I just leave my windows down half way enough so he can't jump out.

I agree. I'm 64 and this year, I had an egg break in the carton for the first time. Closing the hard case on a mutant egg won't go well, hahaha. And it will cause any existing fracture to open up due to the rattling. But in her defense, it is more dog-proof than the egg carton.

She had a check engine light on for months and there were four codes that they showed right on the screen. A Gen 2 Prius is an exceptionally reliable car. It's not as easy finding something a whole lot better than that without spending a lot more money.

I would much rather have an older car or truck than new. New ones are made cheaper, and too much technology to fix when they break. I've worked in the field for about 20 years, even though older cars and trucks can have issues than newer ones usually won't, you're better off with older. What state to do you live in? I'm in NH , near concord

@@richsweeney1115 I'm in Cape Cod Mass. And I agree with you the older cars are definitely far easier to work on and made it to run much longer than the newer ones. The technology is terrible. All the motors are basically made out of plastic today. And once that stuff gets heated up and cools down so many times it warps and breaks. It's so frail with to work on after say about 40,000 mi at most of plastic clips you touch are going to snap to get to another part that you have to remove half the engine for just to replace a 40 cent plastic cam or something. Even my 92 BMW had a whole bunch of plastic on it but it's still lasted almost 400,000 miles. And me for 20 years beating the snot out of it. I never had to do the engine but the guy that I bought it from had the heads done right before I got it with 130,000 miles on it. Outside of that I never had to place the clutch the transmission engine. I did have to do the brakes exhaust suspension and things like that. But it was still easy enough to work on. Not these newer ones though.

@@richsweeney1115 the crazy thing is about a month and a half prior to the shock breaking loose on my rear end I replaced the gas tank due to rusting out. And I'm damn glad I did because I know that spring would have shot right through one of those rust spots on the tank when it went bouncing off of it because it left many big dents in it on the side and back of it. And I could tell it was there because it was a brand new tank that I just put in weeks before. And that's on a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis which if you know anything about those gas tanks you know the studs can only be used one time and you have to replace them I bought the gas tank straps for about 75 bucks I spent $110 to get four sets of the studs because that's the only way they would sell me so I still have two of them and of course I never broke the studs off I left them long so if I need to do something with that gas tank again I can just pull it down and reuse the studs that are already there if they don't break off when I try to take them back down. But Ford makes the studs so that when you pull them up you're supposed to break them off so that the next guy can't do a repair on that without Jerry Reagan something up or replacing those bolts. That cost $102 for four which included the receiver the stud and the nut.. I sold my 2015 Nissan Altima piece of crap before it broke with 55,000 miles on it and picked up this other car for $1,000 from a customer of mine that I worked off. He was an older guy so I didn't think I would have to look underneath the car for any kind of restaurant until I got it and started going through it I was horrified he lives a block away from the ocean and that salt Air just destroyed the car plus the salt on the roads in the winter. The body and cosmetics on the car look all right until you go underneath and you see all the rod the bumpers are riding off the frame is rotten to shit. I'm afraid if I touch too much More of it it's just going to keep breaking. Right now the Cadillac converter one of them is shaking rattling like a madhouse where I have a high-powered stereo installed in that car as well that I have to turn very loud in order to drown that noise out. But it still goes like a champ despite all the rust. Of course the engine only has 125,000 miles on it and driven by an old man it's entire life. So it's broken in a little. But the body will never last as long as that engine. And also the transmission shimmies from second to third gear sometimes. I went to auto technician school way back in the late 80s. So I pretty much know how to repair everything on the car I just don't have all the equipment and tools to do such. I went on to be a contractor on houses and I have all the knowledge to completely rebuild a repair a house now except for the fact that I also had colitis rip out my large intestine in 20 years ago and now it's Crohn's colitis and a whole host of other issues and a bag of poo on my belly that prevents me from doing many things. I used to be able to work 12 13 hours a day everyday now I work through three four hours a day I'm exhausted for the next 2 days. That all started when I was 30 years old. I'm 50 now and these last 20 years have sucked ass. I went from never ever needing any help from anyone to needing more help than I care to ask for..

A case can be made for the RAV4 hybrid, Highlander hybrid, and Sienna (only available as a hybrid). The ground clearances are 8.4, 8.0, and 6.4-6.9 inches, respectively. Personally I'd go with the Sienna, lift it 1.5 inches via suspension, and another 0.5ish inches with tires. The RAV4 isn't big enough for her to stop using an external cargo carrier, so the mpg would suck compare to a Sienna without cargo carrier. No reason to go for the much smaller vehicle plus end up spending more on gas.
