I know not everybody is like this but I had bad experience moving to Augusta Georgia all my neighbors not all I'd say about half my neighbors we're griping complaining about me walking my dog they want to make sure that they stayed in the street so me my dog stayed in the street and versus the way they went buy it they weren't nice friendly tone they yelled it wasn't pleasant with me at all and made it where I didn't want to be outside and walk at all and made it where I didn't like the neighborhood at all it was a nice neighborhood they care about their lawns and I understand that and that's why I picked up at after my dog and everything but I didn't even like the neighborhood I had to take her to somewhere else and I just said my yard when I was there not leave the yard I didn't want to hear Indian neighbors griping complaining and I could be in the street they could still driving the plane I did I just want to hear it at first I really loved it and I loved the area's real beautiful the best people change my perception pretty quick

Oh wow that’s so unfortunate.....to live in an area you enjoy but to live in a neighborhood where you deal with that had to be unsettling. Sounds like the neighborhood you lived in didn’t have sidewalks which is an amenity that not all neighborhoods in the Augusta have. As far as the people, there are good and bad people everywhere and I’m sure that was an uncomfortable experience for you. Hopefully your good experiences of living in Augusta outweighed the bad.

That’s right - I saw a snake for the first time here this past summer so it had been five years before I spotted one… And yes deer we were accustomed to seeing them in the Midwest I’m accustomed to seeing as being from the Midwest. lol… I made the correction in my comment section … yes Augusta has cabs but they’re not seen as often in Columbia County particularly with Uber and Lyft now in place of cabs. In fact you can go months without seeing a cab and you don’t nearly see them as often as the big cities which you can easily see 20 to 30 on a street at a time in those areas like Chgo and NY.
