Why not! You should definitely apply for PR in Australia. I describe it as a person who live/lived in the both countries, I would say there’s a bit easy life in Australia which I always say lol. Money wise mental health wise etc.. compared to Canada. For a long term Australia is better but it would be definitely good to experience living in Canada in my opinion but ofc it depends on what you want in your life. After five years being away from Australia, I realized what the country Australia provides was amazing like beach, weather, relaxation and so on so I’m moving back. Hope to meet you there mate! 😂🎉❤
The difficulties that the current generation faces are quite depressing. I wanted to know how to use some money that I had. I used a small portion of it for online sales, but that failed. My primary concern is safeguarding my $300K stock portfolio from loss, but l'm not sure how to go about it.
Yes, things may be difficult now, but l've realized that there are always possibilities to make significant gains in bear and bull markets, recessions, and economic booms. I used to call people out when they boasted about making a fortune in these down situations, until I actually did.
@FatimahSadiq-nh5ue That's really great. I've tried doing some research myself to hire a financial advisor, but it's really overwhelming. Could you recommend who you work with please?
Thank you for sharing, I must say she appears to be quite knowledgeable. After coming across her Telegram Channel , I went through her resume and it was quite impressive. I reached out and scheduled an appointment and hopes for some feedback
Everything is extremely expensive, food, healthcare, education, cost of a rental home in Australia is through the roof. Huge shortage of housing to accommodate more people. To purchase an average home, you are looking at 1 to 2 million dollars minimum. High taxation rate. Australia is not the utopia you think it is. India is much better and more prosperous. Australia is not worth it. 😊
I would encourage you to re-apply for Australian PR. I’ve lived in both and found Australia a happier and overall a better governed country . Canada used to be a great place some 10-20 years ago, not anymore…broken health care system, rising crimes, out of control homelessness and drug abuse…you name it!
@@spytea-c6vAustralia’s wages fell the most against inflation than any other developed country. So to answer your question inflation in Australia is higher!
I have applied for PR of Australia.. just wanted to know how will be the life there.. i mean starting new career there from scratch, which I little afraid of... kindly guide
I think you moved out just when the points were going to drop and they dropped when everyone said it will continue to go up. I moved in 2015 immediately after my 12th to Melbourne (RMIT Uni) and got my PR in mid-2022 just because I stuck it out there. It is quite clear that you love Australia, and my suggestion to your partner and you is to once again apply as offshore candidates. The last round went as low as 65! Just for the record, I have watched about 6-7 videos of yours just around the time I got my invite and they were amazingly fair, honest and unbiased. Good luck and hoping to catch up with both of you soon :-) Btw, everything you said in this video is bang on! There is no place like Down Under.
Ankasha, The decision you are wrestling unnecessarily with is a major no brainer. Unlike most potential migrants, you have been through the settlement move twice-you have taken the risks and done the hard work: you know about the colour of the grass on the other side of the fence. Don't waste what you have learnt. Australia ranks well on the issues of pay and benefits, but if you are planning a long life (I recommend it), there are other issues and you must know what they are. You are on the cusp of a big decision, one has a time limit that affects not just you, but your kids as well. It's winter in Sydney and I must close the blind because the sun is shining on my screen. I am indoors, not to stay warm, but because it is too bright outside! This is our lot . You have experienced a Canadian winter so you know what this means: you can't just dress for it. From the perspective of Australia, Canada seems comparatively ungovernable with too many issues such as taxes and health insurance determined at the province level. There may be others. Australian health care is a bit fragmented between responsibility for primary care and hospitals. But with the establishment of the National Cabinet, and improvement on the previous arrangement, the prospects look even better for all the levels of government to work better together. With one province even having a different official language how can federal/provincal relationships be improved in Canada? Then there is a (boring) hobby of mine: compulsory voting-and an Electoral Commission that works hard to ensure polling places are well-resourced and everyone is strongly encouraged to have a say in major decisions. Since the new government was elected, the failings of the previous one are being exposed so the prospects of a longish term in office are good. While short parliamentary terms have disadvantages, they tend to ensure government activities are under constant surveillance by more people as they will be called to the polls frequently. Compulsory, preferential voting seems a burden to those who do not experience its advantages with Saturday elections usually in summer. I hope you will not need further convincing. There seem to be many videos of Indians in Canada warning against migrating there. Australia attracts migrants despite making it harder than Canada does. Australia strives for gold.
I am definitely reconsidering it. Needed a slight push just like this one and just because of all these qualities of Australia I feel like moving back.
Seriously my dear friend, I am not seeing the type of difficulties you are describing in Canada. Actually I lived here more than 48 years. For a starter Canada is not boring like Australia. We live an a very active population zone. USA, Mexico, Europe in striking distance. If you are not ambitious live in Australia. It will give you minimum necessities of life. Otherwise immigrate to North America.
@@lakeofbays1622 if you think living in Australia is boring you must have lived in Australia for a loooong time. Australia is a BIG place. So putting the whole of Australia in that same ‘boring category is just completely wrong.
It would be great if you could remove the background audio. If something is informative, there should be no distraction. The background music distracts from the main topic
Was questioning whether Australia is a good country to move to as an Indian, read a lot about how it’s isolating and really tough to make friends with locals. Would love your take on this!
That’s a wonderful video again Akanksha .. Very genuine. It’s very helpful for me and would be very helpful for anyone who is planning to travel. Thanks much for this. You should really for your PR. Cheers
I hope you will reply, I'm from Tamil Nadu, To be honest I'm not rich but I'm mid cls , i want to change my life style so, i decided to make some different moves like pursuing my masters in aus in Adelaide through education loan . I'm not sure whether i will get a job or not in future regards to my education. But my ambition is that i want to get a pr although it isn't a cup of coffee. Futher , with canada getting wrose nowadays, there is no other option for me now What would you give me as an Idea for my life .
As i saw in your old video you struggled in australia to find a job related to your field. Does students who'll do masters in tech will face the same thing ?
From the way you expressed yourself in your video, it sounded like Australia is home for you, Go home Akanksha😊. Go for the PR application. Wish you the best
We would love to have you back in Australia 😊. I'm watching videos like this to try and understand the POV of my Indian colleagues (our team is split between Melbourne and Bangalore)
Yes you should apply again and time is very important, plan and just try again , don’t waste time . Hope you get your Australia PR and would be such a nice video on never give up , just try if you don’t get then be happy in Canada . All the best . Your are beautiful and smart and brave . 🥰
I was spending around 12-1500 AUD every month there but I was staying in a shared apartment so my rent was less. Here I easily spend around 2000 CAD monthly.
Hi, what do you think you you are runing a small business in India as well Would it be better to put a show from Australia that Canada as a second country Because India 🇮🇳 Australia 🇦🇺 timings are more relatable then 🇮🇳 🇨🇦
Then, why a lot of UK doctors are returning to UK from Australia. Also, a lot of British immigrants in Australia are not happy about cost of living, medical system and house prices etc.
Hi Akanksha, I am kind off in a similar boat as someone who has option to apply for both Canda and Australia PR. So which one would you suggest based on your overall experience? I am looking for place where I can settle in for a long time and don't want to move again (at least in near future). Thanks!
I’d say apply for both countries and once you get invited, you can decide which to choose. I moved to Canada in 2022 and already leaving so that says a lot 😬🙈
Australia is so isolated. Lived here for ages. Spent heaps and never obtained PR. PR is almost impossible to obtain unless you are super highly qualified, persistent and cashed up. The laws constantly change. They want many migrants just to be permanently permanent for cheap labour.
Yes PR is getting more and more difficult every year. That’s the only issue I had with Australia that they are very inconsistent with their immigration laws and change overnight.
I'm glad you went to Australia and I'm glad you overcame some ideas about yourself. You are beautiful, feisty and, I believe, due to your victories, very intelligent.
Australian immigration places great importance on the relevance of your occupation to your qualifications. While I'm not aware of your specific bachelor's degree, I do know that you obtained a master's degree in cybersecurity and are currently working in advertising. In one of your videos, you mentioned that the basis for your Canadian PR was your experience in retail. These discrepancies in your qualifications and work experience might be contributing to the challenges you're facing in obtaining PR in Australia. Let's remain hopeful that there will be changes in Australian immigration policies, as it doesn't mean you lack skills. Perhaps your or your partner's work experience in Canada could eventually lead to better work opportunities in Australia or elsewhere. Good luck! 😊
Very nice comparison! Canada at the current moment needs to reflect what they are plan with current influx of immigrants and what they plan on achieving with health care and jobs dearth!
@@bbc2630 I didn’t mean it in the way you assumed! I meant it’s stressful living here and not the country it used to be so keep your judgements to yourself!
@@Whatsnextakanksha you shared your experience/opinion. I shared mine. Simple. You don’t have to agree with mine and vice versa. Individual experiences cannot be denied. It is an unsafe country indeed.
@@libatalklieb5793 1 not true, especially here in WA. It’s all a matter of what house you are wanting to live in. 2: People can afford rent there’s just a rental shortage and not many new houses being built. 3: Drugs, alcohol and crime are all over the world🙄 At least in Australia it is fairly minimal. So maybe before you go making completely misinformed statements you should find out the actual truth.🙄
@@libatalklieb5793 then maybe you need to reassess how you live. Both myself and my Elderly Mum are on a Pension and we both still have money left at the end of the fortnight.
Hi, just wanted to share some of my personal experiences. Generally speaking Australians are warmer, more direct and louder. Canadians are generally nicer, more refrained and quieter. Australia has a three-pillar pension system. The first, public pillar, is composed of a means-tested Aged Pension that is financed by general tax revenues and provides basic benefits (some $1,500 per month depending on individual circumstances). The second pillar forms the backbone of the Australian pension system, and is made up of funded individual pension accounts called superannuation where employers are required by law to pay a certain percentage of a worker’s salary into a mutual fund (currently 10.5% as a minimum and rising to 12% by 2025). The third pillar involves individuals contributing to their superannuation funds or to Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs) out of their after tax income. Australia has a two tired health care system which comprises both a free public system and a private system which is funded by both public money and private health insurance. Government also subsidises private health insurance premiums and high income earners must purchase private health insurance to avoid paying additional 2% in tax (Medicare Levy Surcharge). Because nearly half of the population has private health insurance, waiting times at public hospitals in Australia are generally shorter than in Canada.
@@lakeofbays1622 CPP is a defined benefit system with capped contributions and limited benefits payable at retirement. Again, the system is under huge pressure and it’s one of the reasons why Canada runs a large immigration program.
@@bbc2630 My dear CPP is not under any threat. You know why?. It is pay as you go system and we bring in 500,000 people every year as new contributors. As for our private pensions we can contribute up to 18% of our salary for the pension. With all pensions my self and wife collects almost north of $ 175,000 CAD (not Aussie pesos) a year. That does not include our private wealth which we accumulated over the years.
@@lakeofbays1622 that’s exactly my point - the system is not sustainable therefore the need for constantly bringing in more people to pop it up and furthermore people are required to contribute more which means less take home pay
Hii ,please reply ❤️ I am currently in a big confusion , I am preparing for CAT 2023 , but I want to move to Australia also for my MBA , can you suggest if I should go for IIM or moving abroad for MBA . Also , can someone alone moving there adjust there ? Since I have lived my entire life with a family 😢
Hey! MBA is pretty much useless to study in Australia because it does not have a PR pathway. And whethet you should choose Australia or India is something you should decide. I moved by myself and loved the experience but every person has their own experience.
