The orange cover on your sofa is a perfect color. As you know orange is THE Dutch color and since your son married a Dutch girl, it should have become one of your favorite colors too 😂

Nice house. Great that the owner made all the improvements. 22k THB is reasonable rent. Hang Dong will be our neighborhood of choice when we move to Cm next year. Thanks for sharing!👍🏻

Thanks for sharing, that is perfect. Exactly what we would look for. A good find and some nice improvements made to it recently. yes I suspect those tree roots will break up the concrete, but thats the benefit of renting...it wont be your problem to fix when they do.

I am amazed the owner did all that work for you before you moved in. If your wife negotiated all that, I'd like to hire her to negotiate for me. Congrats on a very nice house and yard in a beautiful neighborhood. Looks like a very upscale US suburban neighorhood (except for all the geckos running around).

Why do you need a dryer? I used to live in Udonthani hanged out my washing even during the rainy season under cover dried in notime have visited Chiang Mai a few times and it's been Hot each time

It’s useful when it may be needed unexpectedly, maybe on the rainy season or in case of something shows up at last minyan you need certain clothes for the occasion. - BETTER HAVE IT & NOT NEED IT than -- NOT HAVE IT & NEEDING IT !!!!

What's your opinion on all the people from rich countries emigrating to cheaper countries like Thailand. Which then with all the extra demand causes the cost of living to rise for local Thai people? No hate or anything, would just be interested to hear your opinion.

2 reasons. First, clothes do not dry well in the rainy season. 2nd, line drying makes the clothes and towels stiff and uncomfortable.

The school is located in Hangdong and I am looking to first rent a furnished house and eventually buy one later. Want to add: 1 storey. 3 br and at least 2 generous bathrooms. Really nice house in a nice Alil neighborhood. We got an Airbnb for a month in CM it’s over twice that price for a month. 🥲 i assume Airbnb is the only option for short term rentals? 1-3months.
