Thank you Mark. Great info. Looking to move to Hua Hin as well. Probably want something a little bigger, if my son would come visiting sometimes. So the last 2-bedroom house looks great, and extremely good value if not too far from the city. If you have the options to show 2 bed / 1.000 USD options in Hua Hin, that would be amazing. 🙏

Hey Donna, I have to be honest with you I had some really big homes back in Canada,,,, and I love the minimalistic life that the smaller condos offer.... Quite honestly the only thing I miss about living in a house is the yard I miss going outside and being able to have a barbecue I miss having a little fire pit.... Lol Those are the things I miss more than anything..... And yeah I was a realtor no question at all... Lol Thankfully WAS and no longer ...... Hahahaha Cheers 🥂

The most tourists in the area the more expensive it is, I went from Phuket to Bangkok, I saved tons of money on food and accommodation. Phuket is insane expensive, Hua Hin has it’s share of tourists as well. I don’t understand the mobile packet you have? I find it very difficult to get more than 10 mbps for 360 days in Thailand, the speed is very low compared to that the simcard / network really can handle. They make a lot of money on tourists at this.

Hey Mate yeah Phuket can be super expensive.... Hopefully you'll catch today's newest video talking about the differences between Phuket and Hua Hin as a retirement Haven.... Cheers Mark. Thanks for adding the additional info on electricity etc. In the uk it’s common to have to pay a ‘maintenance’ charge in addition to the apartment rental. It is supposed to be for the upkeep of the building and services etc. This can be quite a significant additional cost. Are maintenance charges added to condo rental in Thailand ?

You would only pay the maintenance fee if you actually owned the condo.... As a renter, no you are not responsible for the maintenance fee Hope this helps Cheers mate 🍻

Well, you are wrong about good internet connections to your home or condo .... I live not to far from Hua Hin and also have a flat in BKK ... I have True Fibre installed at both places .. it is super fast and 99% reliable ....

Lol Not limited at all mate lived in over 70 different places here.... Again it is experience and how someone interprets that experience..... All I said is that I use my phone a sa hot spot and it is as fast as home internet... Again not wrong just my experience... As for 1600 a month,,, wow I pay 200 a month unlimited and use my phone as a hot spot .

Are you ready to talk about why you may move and to what extent do you know about Hua Hin .. possibly from past time there? I just got back from 6 months in and spent 3 months in Phillipines and 3 months Thailand to review options to possibly stay for retirement. I onlly stayed in places I found as potential locations for my needs...not places like Pattaya or Phuket. I stayed in Bangcock, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai. Hua Hin seems like the right fit for me. As a fellow Cnadian in his late 60s, I 'm interessted what you thikn of a move to Hau Hin...if you are ready to say yet?
