I am glad you feel welcome in Canada. Victoria, Vancouver, and Toronto, have the highest housing costs in the country. Everyone complains about that! (too much foreign investment in real estate is the cause). You can save money if you move to a smaller city with more reasonable housing costs. Yes, we do need trades people of all sorts: engineers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and IT computer people. If you are young, healthy, and well trained you won't have a problem over here. I visited Ireland in 2016 -- too much rain, but otherwise a beautiful country.
Dear miss , Canada is expensive try Dublin I'm Irish it's outrageous ! Love your content it was very informative thanks . I want a lot more people from different nations to live in Ireland you make us better .it's class when I see the world on my doorstep , hope that makes sense .
I had so much fun doing this with you Cece-and running around the house chasing the sun for a good spot to shoot 😄 Thanks for having me on your channel ❤️
Thank you so much for this. I found it very informative and really nice to watch. If you happen to have a friend who has experience of both Ireland and Australia I'd love to see a similar video comparing those two countries.
This is really informative ooo, I really like her personality ❤ Whenever I visit Canada, I will love to stay in that warm and classic area oo. The doctors deserve all they money get jare, after all the wahala to get the job. Nice video dear 😍
Hey guys i love your content and attitude. Just a quick advice Everlycece, if you want to get the best shots facing the sun you must make sure that the light is on your left/right side towrds your face, that way you will not have a problem with the light. In addition, if you feel the natural light is still too much you can use a lace curtain as a dimmer.
I am Canadian. I really need to visit Ireland. My mother never got the chance. She told me, right before she died, that I have to go see Ireland. I really want to see the ilsle of man motorcycle race. Or the Grand prix race in Ireland. And I can drink beer all day. I am a gentleman.
Opened this and it turns out she's living in Victoria BC, I live there too. It's such a beautiful place, it gets a little overshadowed by Vancouver as that's a much bigger city and gets more of the immigrant draw. I'm an immigrant from the UK, the immigration system is pretty straightforward and many people would qualify for permanent residence.
@@des_AT hi destiny, I'm also from Manchester (Cheetham but slowly moved towards Failsworth), I got a work permit through the working holiday program and then applied for Canadian Experience Class. It's a pretty straight forward application. If you have the right education and experience then I'd recommend looking into the Federal Skilled Worker program through Express Entry
Very informative video, learnt something,I actually love both countries but I still have a dream to live in Canada some day😁u girls look good,Chi I love ur turtleneck😍
Is that the EU Sector or non EU Sector ? In the transition to new EU with True Citizen Act, there will not be any migration for Safety & Security reasons. The monkeypox virus may also be a factor.
Very nice video! Thank you! I would add that it is very very expensive to travel here, distances are huge, you can’t see an specialized doctor unless your family doctor refers you, and they will avoid it as much as they can! Canada is beautiful and an amazing country, no question, but just like any other country there are many Cons!
I have lived in Ireland ( from the UK) for over 20 years And am not planning or wanting to move.. Not Dublin or any large city. Always deep rural. These days faciliies are "portable" and even on a small offshore island we have excellent internet with a small local firm ( Westnet) These days facilities are portable, But of course if you are limited by where you can work that is a different challenge. Ireland has a great beauty, Not to be compared with any other place as comparisons are as they say "odious". But there are eg hospitals and schools etc everywhere and distances are small so you can live in a town and still reach the coast or mountains easily. NB the ocean is almost at my garden fence and at tehother side i can see Croagh Patrick..
The fact your country has left the EU, in the transition to new EU & True Citizen Act, all persons who have not been born in EU with both parents born in EU will be migrants. Denmark, Sweden and other EU States enact strict standards. Go raibh mhaith agat
The bad side of points-based immigration is rich countries are using poor countries to train their professionals for them and are then leaving the poor countries with fewer highly qualified people when it's those countries that need them the most. It's capitalist exploitation. Good for the rich countries and good for the lucky educated people from poor countries, but not good for the poor countries themselves.
I'm am Indian, I'm thinking of doing my Ms from Ireland. But I dont have any clue about how Irish people are i have been a huge fan of Ireland since i was a small kid. So, my main concern is that are Irish people racist, or more importantly what is the possibility of me getting racial abused in Ireland...?? I really want to immigrate to Ireland in future, it was always my dream. Please do reply.
Hi Leo...looking at the 2 replies you have here already shows you exactly how the Irish are with immigrants. Truthfully, most of us are fine with immigrants and how you settle here will depend on your own personality and resilience (it's difficult to uproot yourself and adapt to a very different culture). If these are positive, you should settle well. BUT...as you see, the second response also shows you that there are some very racist people in Ireland too. You may be subjected to some of this and must be prepared for it. It stems from a lack of understanding and from the fact that Ireland has only recently become a nation to receive immigrants. It is a relatively new phenomenon in our history. Go back 50 years or more and it was the Irish who were emigrating all around the world!!! Some Irish people are afraid of this change, are afraid of the changes it might bring to our culture etc in the future. Hostility often stems from fear and insecurity. If you understand this, it might help you deal with any hostility you might meet. Good luck with whatever decision you make :)
India & Ireland have similar History having been ruled by former EU state. The fact they have left the EU, it is now possible to create a new EU. Denmark, Sweden & other EU States enact strict standards for safety & security of its citizens to ensure they have priority. The True Citizen & Language Act will see the first official language of EU States being used.
Great job, my country sister but you've not touch all the interesting part, like cost of living, housing, transport, groceries etc. Interested person may like to know the difference between Ireland and Canada. As well in terms of moving with your family which country between uppers more advantage. Regards.

One of the things I love about Canada is the easy blend and mix of people from all nations. “What are you doing here?” 😂😂. That’s something I hear all the time from my friends telling me to move To Canada 😊. Good video 👍🏽
@@Everlycece I live in Victoria like your friend (from Manchester in the UK) and its really nice here, there are serious social issues like you said - the cost of housing and lack of mental health funding has left a large homeless population, it's honestly sad to see people end up that way. Hopefully there is a solution to alleviate the people into adequate living.
I remember one time my best friend asked me "what does ara mean?" I've used the word all my life, but I've no idea how to explain it to anyone. Did ye get the hang of the word ara while living here?
@@Everlycece Really. It's used very often. Like "ara it'll be grand", or "ara what are you on about". it sort of doesn't have a meaning and is just added in.
jrvthatsme "Aire" (pronounced Ara as you say or in some places Yerra) is a throw back to a word in the Irish language (Gaeilge or "Gaelic") meaning literally "care" or "attention" but figuratively it means "Look here" or "See". Sometimes people in Cork and Kerry might start a sentence with this as an emphasis. So instead of saying "It'll be grand" about a worry or fear, you say "Ara it'll be grand" meaning "Look! It'll be grand". The reason people don't know what it means is they have copied it from people who copied it from people who spoke Irish as their first language. Irish is my second language but was my father's first language so as a child I heard him use this expression in both Irish and English. Go raibh maith agat don físeán a cairde (thanks for the video friends) 😁

I have noticed Nigerian RU-vidrs On immigration issues really don’t do justice to detail. This is vis a vis Indian RU-vidrs. It will be nice if you assume the listener has very little idea of what you are talking about and break down steps and requirements and not give general answers. A little preparation may help. Thanks 🙏🏾
Hello ,I have free visa entry with my passport to Ireland, Do I need to fill any form on immigration website.?And please what kind of documents I have to bring along to help me get Irish most important documents .fast .? Again aside marriage and giving birth ,How else can I get Irish citizenship?
I want to do a masters in Journalism at Griffith College and hope to work as an international broadcast journalist afterwards but what are my chances from your Irish experience? I already have about 5 years experience working as a journalist in Nigeria. I think I speak well but will not having the original Irish accent be a challenge? Are there other roles behind the camera where I can fit in?
like any other country they just have a really odd accent that's extremely hard to understand for people not used to it I'm not mean I'm allowed to say this
If you wanna save money, move to Alberta. I left BC cuz its too expensive. Now im edmonton alberta now where everything from housing to food is almost half the price of Vancouver. Love it here.
@@RishabhMazumdar not as cold as you think honestly started in November and we have been getting 13 degrees weather since the end of February, all the snow has melted already but not gonna lie it was -20 for 2 weeks
@@RishabhMazumdar Lmaaaaao 6-8 months? Are u crazy lool you think anyone would live there if it snowed for that longer? People from other parts of Canada exaggerate how bad Alberta is, any chance they get because they are jealous everyone is rich here and everything is so cheap. The longest it will ever snow for, on a bad year is 5 months. Maybe from October to mid March. Normally its November to March max. Always nice and super green by May, until October. Also, Edmonton and Calgary are the sunniest cities in Canada.
Careful of dissing Ireland, they're easily one of the most tribal ppl you could encounter, diss Ireland or the Irish and you've just made 5.5million enemies.

Canada is a huge country with 38 million people -- lots of opportunity. You can study at a Canadian university -- expensive, but worth it -- which would get you a good education and an easier time settling here permanently.
It depends on your personal goal. Honestly, if it's your top priority to get a permanent residence card, I think Canada is better since they are welcoming lots of international students at the moment with an extension of work permit for 3 years after your 2 years of study. And the calculating process really boosts your chance of getting a PR as well. I got an MA's degree in Ireland last year, they did give us an extension to work but after that you need to have a sponsorship from companies to maintain your visa status and it's really hard to get one. Again, this is just my opinion and information that I can get.
@@quangdodungminh2492 you having a laugh? we educated the whole of Europe after the dark ages no one says thanks but u all know !! We Irish are the best educational people in this world end of
@@garyhutton2654 I didn't say anything about Ireland not being the best education system nor criticise the country nor the people? My point is that if the person looks at the perspective of an immigrant or an international student who wants to gain a permanent status, it would likely be better to choose Canada since they have a wide range of jobs there. Did that trigger you?
In the new EU for safety and security it will no longer be allowed. Denmark, Sweden and other EU States enact strict standards. The True Citizen and Language Act will ensure priority for EU Citizens, who have been born in EU with both parents born in EU.
6:20 Ireland is slowly turning into what u said there if u go to Dublin for one day u will see so many Chinese,Americans and Lithuanians I have nothing against them and I’m not racist it’s just our culture is kinda getting taken over and I feel like something needs to happen fast or Ireland won’t be Ireland anymore i live in Tipperary which has no cities and is a very countryside kind of area but even here it is getting bad once again I’m not racist I just think it’s gotten a bit too far.
