Somehow the whole coffee ritual satisfies me, even though I don't drink coffee I watch the whole thing every time 😂 I use a tea bag or a strainer top.

Great system!! I use instant coffee and powder creamer to make it simple and no paper filter. Good tip about using a freezer storage bag. I have a Jackery 300 and use that to heat up my water with a low watt water boiler. Cool to see how everyone does it.

I have many methods but I do love pour over when I am in the class b, but in the Jeep or minivan I don't do flames inside so, to heat water I would use a stove, either propane or backpacking canisters stoves at a picnic table. I have a My Joe that uses a reusable k-cup type reusable filter pod that sits right on top of my Yeti tumbler. Pour the water in the reservoir, put the pump top on and press down to drive the water through the coffee grounds.. clean up is about the same as yours, put I usually let the pod dry out on a napkin inside a freezer bag and empty them into a separate bag and rinse the filter pod later in the day into a separate bag. In really poor or windy weather I was crouching under an umbrella to heat the water, but now I have a nice electric kettle and a small power bank/ generator. You just have to make sure your kettle does not exceed the maximum wattage for the inverter in your power bank. My power bank can be charged, 3 different ways so charging it up has not been an issue. I purchase coffee beans and have to manually grind them but I feel the beans just retain the flavor better with vehicle living conditions and the grinding is just part of the "Ritual " of morning coffee. I love my coffee free of additives. Well unless I am backpacking then it is instant and likely mixed with protein share powder and cold water.... I consume it as I enjoy strolling to my next overnight spot. It will be gone too soon 😢, no matter the method I use to get my fix😂. Thank you again for taking the time to create your videos. ❤😊

I use a low watt electric kettle they have 12v water boilers too so you don't need to keep buying those gas canisters

When Hurricane Irma hit a few years ago, I spent 6 days with no electric in the middle of summer here in Florida. Ugh! The one thing I missed (besides my air conditioning!) was no way to make coffee. I swore it would never happen again. I bought a small hibachi grill and some self-igniting charcoals to guarantee a way to heat water and cook. I plan on getting some canned heat to use inside if necessary. I use the same cone (same color, too!) you do, each morning. When I was without electric, I put coffee grounds in a jar with water and a lid and shook it up for a minute or two and put it through the filter, for cold coffee. The coffee didn't taste bad, but I had no milk, either. I will buy some kind of powdered coffee creamer if a hurricane comes this way, just for the emergency. I wish I had been better prepared before, but life is full of lessons, isn't it?
