Mark,,,no wonder you always have a smile on your face. You have found true happiness in every aspect of your life from home to family. Your passion for food is also your source of income which is wonderful to be able to achieve. Yet through all of your blessings you remain humble, kind and grateful. You are a great example for your son.
Je S the main reason I started watching his videos is that he smiles even while talking and I love that 👍goes so well with him and also I do travel so I enjoy his videos.
Its so refreshing to see a 'normal' family home. As aposed to all these perfectly custom designed, perfectly polished, perfetly organised homes that Ive been seeing lately from vloggers. Your home is a real homey home. It looks lovely. Thank you for sharing.
We Asians are closely knit families. It is common that our immediate family lives with us in the same house. And you can tell that Mark is really a good kind hearted person cause he allows it to happen. Not every son in law especially not Asian will do that. Though I think he has some Asian blood. Just guessing.
Mark is humble, always smiling. Despite his impressive earnings, Mark is down to earth, not lavish, not showy and not flashy at all. He and his family live simply. He lives with Ying (his wife), son, parents-in-law and sister-in-law in a big, spacious mansion in Bangkok. Besides viewing his food reviews, I enjoy his accommodation / apartment reviews and airline food reviews too. He is so positive, he is able to turn a basic and simple accommodation at $25 per night in Cambodia, to one that is exciting, archaic and a treasure. Hats off to him la!
This dude is keeping it real! What I’ve noticed about him is that he’s eaten all around the world and his reviews are always so positive. I’ve never heard him say anything negative about any kind of food he’s had. Good for you Mark, living life to the fullest.
i feel uncomfortable watching this. this lifestyle feels very contained. i couldnt live in that house with those people. and when he greeted his child... that was wierd. who puts there face in a babys face without kissing them? this guy seems really off. unsettling
@@BOOGiNS Just pass and saw this. I am Thai. This house, in my opinion, also a very uncomfortable house. Everything look cheap (materials) and build SO not in order which is like the most of cheap house in Thailand. HOWEVER, that is the point. I am almost crying watching Mark express his super positive feeling about the house and his life. I could bet Mark is a person that could be happy and make everyone around him happy regardless of the places.
I don't care how messy it looks but your home has heart, warmth, normal living and most of all you are real full of happiness and joy for what you are doing and have acheived. No money in the world can take that away from you.
Hi Mark, you are really very nice man amd down to earth...above all you must be a loving and kind hearted person who accepts things as a blessings from GOD and adore it. YOUR WIFE AND SON MUST BE LUCKY PEOPLE ON THE MOTHER EARTH!

Like a lot of people mentioned. Mark is one of the most humble and sweetest RU-vid influencers. Especially someone with millions of subscribers is very rare. I would love to see more of Ying. I would love to see a series with Ying’s mother. Both Ying and her mom cooks. Love to see their favorite recipes or what they always want to try.
Humble? That's a pretty expensive house for Thailand I'm sure. He's smart for living in an affordable country so he can make the most of the money he makes and save easily.
I have never seen anyone and have heard anyone that so humble as him. With him being successful in his videos, he is so humble and you can tell he is a happy person!! GB mark to you and your fam!
@@fromis.9 Yes, you do, because they are now consider your parents as well now. 🤦🏻♀️ my mom immigrated to the United states when she was 20 yrs old and divorced 6 years later they were married at 18.We went to visit when I was 15 and my mom still made it a priority to visit my grandma from my father side even tho my dad was not apart of our lives anymore for 11 years. She also grave money and did a ceremony for my late grandfather. 🤷🏻♀️ once you are married your significant other parents are an extension of your own family and you follow the family hierarchy. An example is my mom married into my dads family and she was the youngest in her family but she became the second youngest in my dads so she is seen as an elder sister to my dads youngest brother. It’s a cultural and society difference, that’s foreshore, but I love it. Also, cousins are seen as brothers and sisters and typically will live on the same plot of land near each other to help with chores.
Mark I have watched so many videos but never commented on any of them. Your videos are some of the best RU-vid and I never got why it was. But now I know. You are so humble and a really good human being. You don't even have a hint of an ego. God bless you and your amazing family. A fan from Sri Lanka
Simon Curtis not true. I have seen him comment under a lot of people’s comments. As a fellow RU-vidr it gets very overwhelming trying to reply to all comments.
Paul the 2 marek Sørensen Cmon Paul, are you living in a well? You need to dust the snow off and check geography. Sri Lanka was named the number 1 destination by “Lonely Planet”. If you don’t know what Lonely Planet is... well, I better not be rude.
I don't know why...everytime i watching your videos, it's like a motivation for me to do a good thing in my life..sometimes like i'm gonna crying.. how people around the city in the world feel the happiness everytime you come to their town. how people around you, people who you came for..it's very welcoming, very friendly, in every country.. i believe it's because your attitude, your low profile style, humble, and you always appreciating to others, respecting to the people who serve they dish for you.. keep spreading positive virus to the world Dude..stay healthy and keep success for you and your family..God Bless You.
Mark is just a humble, down to earth guy that seems like he loves his wife very much and take her everywhere with him and respect his in-laws. His wife is so quiet and easy going. I love his channel.
I love how when Ying just walked by and Mark said "oh hi Ying" and she flashed him a beautiful wide smile. It feels nice to be noticed especially by your own husband cos people tend to get complacent. Mark and Ying are so sweet!
It's normal for thai, but he's white, he gotta have a big heart to do so. Most mix couples wouldn't do that, I can say more than 95%, and to be fair, I'm indonesian(french husband) we have the same family value with thais but I know 0 mix couple that done the same as mark, but doesn't mean we're dumping our families lol, still visiting them at least once in 1-2weeks. And it's 2018, asian are more modern and prefer to live separately with their parents after their wedding.
I agree to a point my wife is Thai but has grown up in the country I did and we both don't want our parents to live with us but her cousins who lived there their entire life share a home with their parents and grandmother it is still very normal.
I had a Thai friend and we would walk home after school and she would often ask me to come to her house and join her for an afternoon school snack, but mind you, a Thai snack isn't an ordinary snack, it's a full blown meal and this is how I felll in love with Thai food. My friends mom made the most delicious Thai cousins, it was like eating at a fancy Thai restaurant every day after school. One of my fondest memories from school days. 😊
No One. He brightened our days. Especially mine if I am feeling down. I will watch his You Tube channel & his smiles will lift you right up. Thanks Mark!!!!
You live a very nice and comfortable life! You pay about $700-$750 a month for daily needs, have family close, and travel around the world to eat food! Very jealous 😆
I stumbled across Mark doing a Philadelphia sandwich video with JL Jupiter. I was immediately struck by his upbeat enthusiasm over food. And here I am.I truly enjoy the content of his videos and the way he conducts himself as a human being.
Mark: great human being, great soul, easy going, entertaining, humble and ingenious. What else can you expect? Keep going and keep making us happy. Best wishes.
I live in Pasadena California. Mark has about 3 times more square footage of house than I do. His total cost of living appears to be about 20% of mine! I’m also envious of him being able to have Ying’s extended family living with him. I’m so happy for Mark and the life he’s built for himself!
With all those views, I can’t imagine how much you are raking in per videos. But just by watching this video, I can sense the humbleness as a person and from your house.
I get really hungry when I see the expression on your face when your eating and explaining the taste texture and aroma of the spices of the food. My mouth waters..lol
Not only are you humble, you are grateful and appreciative. You enjoy your family, traveling, making your videos and food. Great job, keep smiling and making us smile.
Mark German coffee is the best.! Our family loves your videos, it brings us around the world. My wife is very sick and your videos helps her "float" away from the pain she has to live with. Thank you for sharing your life. Mika is growing so fast, he is an adorable little baby boy 💙
Mark, I did not expect to enjoy this house tour video so much. I have seen quite a few, but this was special, especially because nothing in your house looks staged or posh. It is so real, as real and lived-in as our normal middle-class homes in India. Of course, your house is large (a little jealous of all the space, tbh!) but it feels homey, and relaxing, and so welcoming. You have a lovely home and an even more lovely family. God bless!
you are a frank person not hiding anything about yourself . i like it that way besides even a video about your apartment or life in Bangkok is as interesting as your food videos. Now i feel you are one among our family
That is an amazing deal you're getting! Got to love those mates rates! The price of water sure is affordable! Really interesting Mark. Thanks for this one! 😀
Chasing a Plate - Food and Travel Channel So nice to see you guys here! Through Mark I found your channel and was hooked after the Ramli burger video. Subscribed 😊
Love Mark such a family man and has a high regard and respect for in-laws which Asian families highly uphold. God Bless you Mark you are a GEM of a guy in this day and age!
Mark is such a sweet gentleman with a genuine generous heart full of pure love. His wife is very grateful, bless to have him as a great husband, and an amazing Father to there Son. He is always in good spirit with a smile on his face. He is living life to the fullest, so caring, lovable, humble, strong, and down-to-earth.
I will say though it's inevitable someday she'll be exposed to it. Just saying kind of hard to keep them away. best to watch it together to contextualize it... explain how it hurts people that's the part most young people miss. Looks like fun until their families get broken apart because of such behavior or a history of it. That's what I'd tell my daughter if she was still alive
*_Thank you Mark for giving us the tour of your home... it was Great! HUGE! and in comparison to my 34meter one bedroom condo in Bangkok! When I am back in BKK, I will treat you and your family to lunch or dinner at a restaurant of your choice! Continue your excellent videography!_*
“You just walk around here, you can just start eating things.” 😂 Mark Wiens, your videos are the best! Your home is very spacious! The coffee bar is pretty awesome. Thank you for sharing!
im always suprised by how down to earth mark is, one would assume that a youtuber with almost 10 mil subs and multiple channels would have a super fancy house but its cool to see he lives pretty much the way we do in Asia.
I've probably watched more than 50 - 80 of your videos, Mark. However not even once I see you without your smiling / happy face (unless you tried to eat/swallow something). I just want to say, thank you for all your contents, vlog inspirations, and those unlimited amount of joy doing all those things. The amount of consistency to enjoy your life most of the time really inspired me. I hope someday I can meet you around south east asia and thank you in real life! Keep it up! May you and your family have a really good life!
MARK!!!....Would you and Ying be willing to do a video sharing how you two met, your love story and all that? I'm so curious to know and Ying is so sweet and BEAUTIFUL!! I love seeing her and Micha in your videos!! Blessings!!
Muy de acuerdo con usted @jose luis Rodríguez mark es un gran ser humano m encanta ver sus videos y ver como convive con las personas a donde viaja,,y ver su cara siempre sonriente m hace el dia
I haven't seen this video before, I think it was about 2 years ago, but thank you, you wonderful person, for being sooo generous, and showing us through your home that you rent, or rented in Thailand. And being a woman, I thank you for always having your lovely wife along with you when you travel, not leaving her behind, I can tell that you are a happy man😃, stay that way, may God bless you both.❤❤❤❤❤
You can find cheaper, they have all bills apartments in bangkok for $300-$500 for a 1 or bedroom in the city, or u can go outside the tourist cities and get apartments for $150-$250
I’m here knowing Mark’s house 🏡 big one like how he doesn’t care to show all his house as it is. So real!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Just a tip my friend Mark downstairs where dining room is you should just move your dinner table not to close to the wall you have enough room there.
Wow the rooms are huge. It's really awesome how you live with Ying's sister and parents. That is marvelous for Micah having his extended family around everyday. The cost of living seems to be really reasonable in Bangkok. I rented a basic, small three bedroom house for my foster son and I and it cost NZ$440 per week which is US$300. Then we paid for water, phone, internet and power separately which was about NZ$80 per week which is US $57. Each month (28 days) just for accommodation, power etc it cost me NZ $2,080, US $1480. On a teacher wage, (approximately US$3600 per month) that was quite a lot to pay. Our food bill was about NZ$180 per week, US$128 because the boy I was fostering at the time had type one diabetes and I have crohns disease which after many surgeries means I only have 1.2 metres of my intestine so I am on a specific diet. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
I must have watched more than 10,000 videos and nearly always read comments. All channels ive seen have fans, and a few haters/trolls.. i cam honestly say, i have NEVER ever seen one negative comment against Mark Weins channels/videos. I see nothing but love and admiration for this most wonderful amazing man. I sometimes get jealous how people make a fortune off RU-vid for talking nonsense, but with Mark, i truly feel that he deserves every single cent he makes, and I wish him to make much more than he'll ever need. He truly is the best, genuine, honest RU-vidr you could ever meat
You’re a millionaire and yet you live a simple life…. I love that you smile while you talk which reflects how happy and content you are… and I also most especially enjoy your herb garden 😊
Thank you so much for this house tour! I love that you are such a humble person. I felt like I was visiting my uncle's hometown house! Happy New Year to you, Micah, Ying, and her parents! Wish everyone in your family a healthy and joyful year ahead! 😄
Mark. I'm a new subscriber to you'r channel and I like the way you are .humble, with a smile on your face all the time. You spread happiness to all the viewers and to myself too. Blessings to you and your family,
I work 10hrs a day as a techie and still can't afford this..this guy travels around the world enjoying life and food and able to earn as well...#careergoals
If you are a techie from a third world country, you wont make much. But if you are a techie from developed country, then you will make huge amounts of money. Also the working hours are less in developed nations. I have seen the work culture on both sides and US(among other developed nations) has amazing work culture and benefits compared to other developing nations for instance.
I visited Bangkok a few years ago and stayed with relatives who retired from California. They explained that a hot water heater is rare in Thailand and usually the water tank sits out in the back and sunlight warms the water. Because it’s sooo hot, most people only take warm showers. Surprised you didn’t mention this. BTW, my relatives did have a hot water heater in their master bedroom for hot showers at night and one in the kitchen for washing dishes. They also took us to various markets throughout Bangkok from wet markets, to large modern supermarkets like in the US and even gourmet shops where we bought a lot of fresh sushi during our stay. Hope you’ll do a video on markets one day.
Why so many thumbs down 993? Jokes on them, coz this guy is living a great life. He’s such a humble person and just wanted to show us his house. I live in USA and of course houses here are much more modern. I also been around to many countries because of my job.
Hi Mark, im from Portugal and im in Thailand right now on vacation. Before i came i saw your videos about the food and you are amazing. I had visited all the country in the last 17 days since north to south with my friends. And the food, my God the food... No words for that. The people were so nice to us. I have so much to say about it, in loved by Thailand 👍👍 Your videos are awesome, keep going with it.
I am sure my Spirit led me to this beautiful kind and very loving spirit of a man. He shared his home, and what he (family) actually pays. Just a calming, cool, refreshing spirit. Thank you.
A very humble man, thank you for sharing all your travels and all the delicious food. May God bless and protect You and your family 0n all your travels I look forward to watching every one of them. Gladys Castro from Irving Texas❤️
