Join me on as I share my 3-year journey from leaving Los Angeles to embracing the enchanting beauty of Provence in the South of France. In this video, I take you through the charming streets of Aix-en-Provence, where I now call home, and invite you to experience the captivating Mediterranean magic that has stolen my heart.
I spend the day reflecting on the countless moments of gratitude that have filled my life during these incredible three years. I take you on an unforgettable adventure with a dear friend, heading to the breathtaking Calanques nestled along the Mediterranean coast. The azure waters and rugged cliffs create a scene straight out of a dream.
If you've ever dreamt of leaving it all behind for a life of adventure and discovery, or if you simply find solace in the serenity of the Mediterranean sea, this video is for you. Let's celebrate the joy of life, the spirit of wanderlust, and the eternal charm of Provence together.

Happy 3rd Anniversary in Provence Sam! You and Paul have made a beautiful life there and I am sure looking back now, you think “why was I so worried”! But, I can understand a change that huge would be scary. What a wonderful day by the sea with your friend! Glad you enjoyed it. This is truly living!❤

Congrats! Kind of amazing how secluded this beach is, during this time of the year.

We were shocked to see it so empty, we arrived early in the morning but even when it was later in the day there weren’t too many people.

Just magical! I am so happy you live the life you do and are out of the bustle of the city. It's nice to visit the large city on occasion but I too wouldn't want to live in one.

Congratulations Sam on your 3 year anniversary in France. Lovely seeing you and Paul, playing Scrabble with his grandmother. One of my favourite games beside Monopoly 😊. Beautiful footage of the shimmering sea and sand. 🎶⭐☀️😇

This is about to be my life.. moving with my French husband to Aix, Marseille, or Toulouse. Have my visa appt next week and flight in two months! I have no idea how I will find living there, especially as an artist. I'm keeping faith and some excitement for living there however. Hoping for great things! Thanks for the video!

Beautiful video. Beautiful life. Wondering - if it's not too personal, how and why you made the decision to move to South of France. So brave, esp if you do not k ow the language. Wondering if you met your husband and then moved? That might make it easier. I ask because I am 57 and will retire from teaching soon... and I have always dreamed of moving there. I do not know anyone there and I'm studying French on Duolingo for now! Thank you for letting me share and ask. Blessings to you ❤️🙏🏽

Thank you Cynthia! I moved to Aix to be able to be with my husband who’s French. I actually have a whole video on my story on my move here. It’s called "Why I moved Abroad | Moving to France." If you really want to move here I believe you can do it, it may not be easy but follow your heart! There is also a huge community of immigrants here, you should look up Moving to Aix en Provence on FB in case you have any questions and inspiration from others who have made the leap. All the best to you, sending love and light✨
