My grandson is a Cadet Cadre in his Sr. year at V.M.I., graduating with his class of 2121. I remember his matriculation and I thought "YIKES!" But I knew he could do it. He speaks very highly of V.M.I. and loves their values and his brothers and sisters there. He graduated from the Marine Officer Training School in Quantico this summer, and is now a Marine. We're all very proud of him.

@emconect That's just it. The bar has been lowered considerably for what actually constitutes "racism", "sexism", "hazing" and "abuse". Look at the "metoo", "believeallwomen" or "blm" movements. No real evidence is required, just one person's accusations and they can be decades old. No intelligent person is actually "for" sexism, racism or bad behavior. It's the people making the judgments and their criteria that should be looked at. It's all about being "woke" and "PC". It's a military environment, not summer camp.
@@wyattp8479 I think the black superintendent is looking at it in the context of when it happened in history. Looking at things outside of their historical context (when it actually happened and what the "norm" was at that time) is a common mistake people make when examining these things.
@emconectit wasn’t racist or sexist until this woke radical liberal movement came along. None of it is racist or sexist. 😂 Washington post is hyper liberal, their “investigation” is compromised.
