I saw you in downtown Disney and was THRILLED to see my first "real lolita" :3 I wanted to come up to you and tell you how cute you were but I was too shy hehe

lolitas seem to fit perfectly in the fantasy land in disney land ! especially in the tea cup ride you two looked adorable !

Just gonna put this out there. In Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea, many girls and guys cosplay the disney characters and wear lolita there. It's a pretty fucking normal thing over in Japan. They even sell the cosplay in the disney shops in there

I never considered that they could turn you down for looking like a character (￢_￢). I'll keep that in mind next time I get to go to disneyland

This reminds me of the time I went to Disney with my uncle. I was wearing Lolita and he doesn't like rides, so I went on all the rides by myself. I got to skip the big line because I was in the "single rider" line, but it was a little weird riding the teacup by myself lol. If you plan on going on rides like Splash Mountain or Pirates of the Caribbean I recommend not wearing anything you don't want to get wet, but they are really nice on a hot day to keep you cool in your many layers.

I don't know if any of you Lolitas know this but we So Cal Lolitas had our first annual Disneyland Lolita Day back in October. About 150 of us were there (I think). We all had so much fun! I think it's gonna be an annual thing from here on out. :)

I love the lolita style, but I could never wear the full outfit in Florida's weather!

i work for disney and we never turn guest down no matter what they are wearing..... im a kandi raver and i can dress like myself and im still in.... no different door... or questions....

I wish I could afford Lolita stuff! I went through a phase where I wore all fairy kei though and that was fun. I might have to wear it around again sometime, at school or to the mall or something. I couldn't keep it up everyday though, too much work.

I have a Bodyline wallpaper skirt in Sax and was thinking of wearing it with a white short sleeve blouse when I go to Disneyland this summer. The sax blue, though, may be too close to Alice's dress and therefore I may get turned away? I wasn't aware about the turning away thing. Think that blue might not work, even if it's a print?

Lovely Lor, I wanted to ask you about your footwear actually. I've heard that many people recommend walking shoes and the like, but of course, being in Lolita, we don't have the shoe option to do that. What would you recommend, considering that we have to walk a good distance throughout the park?

I found this video rather entertaining. I'm hoping to go to Shanghai Disney soon so I'm interested to see how they respond to my Lolita stuff. But I want to share some information with everyone here on why Disney can turn you down for looking like a character. Disney's goal with their parks is to have almost an immersion into the themes and such. They want their guests to go see the characters. If a guest comes in looking like a character it can confuse children and actually can have an affect on the turn out to shows and meet and greets. Now Disneyland Japan may have some differing rules on this considering their culture is way different then American/Euro places but it is still something to keep in mind.

This was really helpful, I didn't know that you could be turned down for looking like a character, but I am pretty short and I look pretty young so I think I should be fine, I don't wanna be turned down because I'm going with my family, so that wouldn't be fun for them, but thank you for this helpful video :D

Because I go crazy when I go to Disney, I would NOT wear any light, bright colors, especially since it'll take time to wash dirty sweet Lolita clothing. Instead, I would dress up in gothic or bittersweet Lolita.

Yeah but what IF one of them was just a jerk!! ;-; I came across jerks who reject or turn down my entry to places because of my different clothes.
