I know exactly what you mean about having less money being a good thing as it prompts creativity and you end up with a more original room. It's so satisfying completing projects and building your home. Not to mention the thrill of a bargain! Your room looks so pretty and cosy and relaxing and it looks like it would smell so good too. It is quite feminine - I'm guessing your partner doesn't mind that. Isn't it a nightmare to dust everything? Painting my fireplace was one of the very first things I did in our current home and I agree it makes SUCH a huge difference! Yours looks great. And your floor is amazing, I love it.

I love your living room. I love fine bone china just like you and have lots of niece pieces especially Royal Albert old country roses as oppose to the new roses set. It's a very expensive habit to have love. I watched your video and did wonder as I'm sure many other people did, how did u dust all these pieces that are out on display. My grandmother collected Royal Albert tea cups. When she passed a lot of them vanished off to other relatives. Fortunately, I was able to get one, and it has pink roses on it. My favorite!!

And where ever they were stationed they always bought her tea cups from the country's.. She passed away in the early 90's and us 3 daughters got to split the cups among us..
