Nice video, I was there last year. It was Extremely hot, so much so that no one, including the locals, goes outside between about 11 to 4 pm. But very beautiful area.

Been there! Loved it! You could spend all day watching those great surfers catch and ride those waves! Don't swim till 2 hrs after eating, is definitely a Mexican ol wife tale! My parents and grandparents were sticklers for that rule, so we wouldn't let them know when we ate, we would wait half hour or so, but not 2 hrs!

We spend our winters right where you are in the Rinconada. The locals call the month of May, 'Hell' month because the rains haven't started yet. Carrizalillo is my "happy" place. Love your VLOGs.

Can you compare guys Puerto Escondido to Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta? Both for fast and slow traveling /living. Also Queretaro nowadays is pretty popular. I was condidering living in Mexico for some time (Vancouver Canada got way too pricey), however I cannot stand heat over 28C for a long time unless I am swimming (love turquoise sea and swimming, have never lived near the sea where I can swim often).
I remember Playa Zicatela having a strong undertow, which was frightening. I can't remember if it had riptides? I just ended up going to Playa Marinero for the most part.
@@tomasmundo3367 There were two deaths. A man attacked three young Argentinian tourists with a machete on the beach, k1ll1ng one. The second case: a young Canadian tourist was sh0t deAd in his car while returing to the hotel from a restaurant in Puerto Escondido.
