In this video, Theresa describes living with the eye condition cataracts. Theresa was diagnosed with cataracts in one eye when she was 13, and in the other eye when she was 20. She tells us what the emotional impact of this diagnosis was, and what it’s like to see with cataracts. After reaching out to Guide Dogs and receiving our support and services, Theresa became confident travelling again, with her guide dog or white cane, and embraced technology to help her maintain her independence.
