OMG people think I'm crazy when I tell them im allergic to cold. I was originally diagnosed with intermittent urticaria but my rash doesn't break the skin so a few years later the doctor figured out it was angioedema, causes swelling, pain and itching. It took me 20 years to get diagnosed. Anyway, im considering going raw vegan for a while, I'm glad I found your page.

I am cold intolerant. I get extreme pain and chills that take forever to go away. I moved west 14 yrs ago from the midwest. I can't handle going back to visit now. Best thing i ever did was to get out of the cold climate. Was miserable 48yrs. Glad i found your channel.

I had a dear friend who broke out in hives on her face when we were trick or treating. She said that getting hives was common for her in the cold. I dont think the doctors recognized her allergy.

Omg im allergic to cold.i get hives and itch 😢 ... i get terrible pain in my teeth and palate with cold food. My feet become painfully numb? Can anyone relate 😅

That is terrible. So sorry you have to live like this. I will only drink ice cold drinks and I get pretty mad when I don’t get enough ice

wow I didn't know about this! I sometimes get some dry spots on my skin that can get a bit itchy, but never as much as what you've explained. It was an interesting video :) #vrafam

I suffer some this as well. I usually get the hives, itching, and pain from the heat. I usually get them in areas exposed to the cold (ears, face).

Omg, it’s so interesting you share this, because I have it, but when I am exposed to high temperatures. I get rashes and my skin gets swollen, it is so painful.

When my son was young he had the same thing until he turned 13 then it seemed to have stopped. Our winters are cold and we get a lot of snow. One winter at school right before recess he told the substitute teacher he couldn't go out because of this allergy and she didn't believe him and sent him out with the rest of the class and next thing you know I get a call because his eyes had swollen shut and he was covered in hives head to toe.
