Conan meeting Liza. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1HaHeQXBqxY.html I love this this part 20:23 where Liza asks to Conan what if he couldn't find her when she change her job, to which Conan says he would have found her and there is an entire department of people there who does nothing but find things for him.
Do you understand about passing the not? I mean did she literally write a note on paper and went to Mike's office to give it to him? Or what? Please anyone do tell to alleviate my confusion.
I’m a 27 year old man, and Conan saying he prefers the memory of meeting Liza over rewatching the remote warms me heart. I love this man like a teenage girl loves Robert Pattinson
I love how Conan had to invent a situation after the shooting was finished to hang out with Liza even though he’s a huge star on television, he was a still that scared kid in high school that was a bit too nervous to ask a girl out. So he concocted a situation where he wouldn’t get shot down. It really shows what a good guy Conan is, especially in this day and age when we see the way so many creeps on TV treated women in the nineties.
@@henryewald9327 Of course, don't know either of them IRL, (though I'd much like to) but it definitely seems that Conan's the crazy neurotic comedian type and Liza's the only one that can "ground" him, so to speak. Always loved this dynamic lol. It definitely makes for great comics, That's for sure. I believe Bill Burr has a similar dynamic with his wife Nia.
They're really meant for each other. The fact that Conan went into serious mode to make a good first impression the first time they meet which he doesn't do when he's just messing around flirting for the purpose of his show.
Conan made his crew go on a group date so he could talk to Liza, and everyone felt awkward and resentful. This is the exact situation he would write as a joke, but he can't because he did it in real life. 😂
conan sort of big manned his crew, but the fact that his dudes all went along with it because they liked him really speaks to his personality and work culture
Omg she was the one who made the big move, holy shit, what a fucking QUEEN!!! She probably saved him from still being single till now cause knowing conan i think he'd be worried about coming off as a douche, him "the tv star" asking out the girl he met a remote loool. AND they invited hilton the weding, bruh what a wholesome story!!!!
I keep smiling while listening to the whole story❤️ ( Btw, The most funny part is I am not native speaker. So I turned on the subtitles, and search each of the words I don’t understand. Haha! I take this more seriously than my textbook)
This is an incredible story and it's always nice to hear how married couples met. I especially like to hear these stories in person because you can see their faces light up.
Love these kinds of shows. I don't know what it is about Conan, but it makes you really care about not just him, but all the people around him. Liza, Andy, Sona, Matt, Jordan, Sweeney, Kramer, Blay, and everyone else...we care way more about them than we do famous guests.
Conan and Liza are the embodiment of "Love At First Sight"! I've watched the video of when Conan and his crew filmed the Hilton with his Chainsaw which was hilarious alone! RU-vid has a video of The Whole Story and it is well worth taking the time to see! Really fun to hear the perspective from Liza and Mike too! Awesome clip here Nandhana as always!! Have a great MOAN-DAY....LOLOL and the rest of the week! Cheers From Ohio
I’ve been a massive fan of Conan’s since pretty much the beginning of his career on Late Night and all the other iterations of his show, and I’ve seen the remote where he met Liza several times over the years…but I’ve never heard their story in so much detail until now. My God, it was kismet! It’s so unbelievably sweet and genuine that it makes my heart smile for them that they found each other in such a silly, random way. Conan has always been such a major source of fun, laughter, and joy for me, and I’m so happy he found someone that could be that personal someone for him. I love it and wish them a lifetime of happiness! ❤
this is a true story, my older brother and I were talking about meeting famous people in our lives and he said "I once sat next to that Hilton furniture guy on a flight to Cleveland Ohio" 😅🤣😂 and I believe this was around same time he was doing the commercial thing with Conan 😁 we're from Houston tx.
As a 30 something yo single guy this gives me hope that one day I too may be that guy with the chainsaw. Who brings two people together out of fear of one day becoming me.
I watched that remote several times and thought "Would be cool if they actually invited Hilton, because it is all thanks to him and his chainsaw" And apparently, they actually did, which only proof for the 100th time that Conan is an amazing human overall
I moved to Houston in 2002 and it was still run an hour or more later than it was supposed to be. I had never been so infuriated about a show's time slot.
Omds as I was listening to this I was legit thinking "wouldn't it be great if Liza and Conan invited Hilton to their wedding?" and the fact that they acc did is so amazing! Liza and Conan are an adorable couple ❤️
Ahh their beautiful story... Conan found a person who is genuine and sincere just like him. I do like watching him since my childhood and my interest on him has never changed.
He and she looked a lot like each other. She is very tall, blond, high forehead, slender but fairly wide shouldered. So is Conan. Not surprised they were attracted to each other.
Isn’t it funny how narcissistic people are. (I like Conan and his wife a lot this isn’t a comment about them it’s a Scientifc fact that people choose partners that look like them often)
Didn't think I could love this story more than my remote admiration of Conan. The telling of this story makes me so happy that they found each other and are such a great fit together. ❤ 💜
One evening I caught Liza and Conan out on town(looked like a date( this was back in the mid 90's ) . We were walking uptown, they were walking downtown and as we past them I realized who one of the outrageously tall individuals was. I asked my friends if they had seen who had just past us and they said yes they had, so I turned around and starting yelling, Hey Conan!!! He and Liza started walking even faster, much to my glee as I knew he was probably embarrassed being literally called out. A few nights later he made a joke about it on air, which filled me with happiness, knowing that I had provided him with comedy material. However, during the bit he failed to mention that he was out on a date.😁🤣
@@TheBarrier Hello! Since I was corrected on the date of the sighting, I’m a little hesitant to attempt a date on the monologue, but I thank you all the same. All the best
Just go through all of the monologues from the 2000 (when they met) to 2002 (when they were married; unless OP confused a married couple for an unmarried one) to verify his story. Although I find it hard to believe he confused the early 2000s for the mid '90s.
It's so interesting like a common denominator to good celebrity relationships that their mates aren't aware of their public persona or aren't their fan. So cute!
Thank you so much for uploading this Nandhana. I only check this podcast only once in a while. This is such a wholesome clip. I've seen the hilton video and how camera lingers on Conan for a few seconds long probably coz cameraman knew what was going on and him staring into the camera with a pokerface. 😁
Living in Houston, at that time it was ridiculously stupid that the show was on at 2am... I really wish I could have been able to see Conan live when he was here, but considering I was like 16 or so at the time, was a huge bummer I couldn't, but I recall all of Conan's frustration with Houston KPRC and totally agreed with him. Was great tv though.
I watched him for the first two years of his show, in CA. I felt like he wasn't going to go long term lol.... He changed a little, found more of an identity... And the rest was history
I’m from Houston and I always wondered why he was always on so late. I also remember those freaking Hilton commercials always yelling at me through my TV.
Thanks for posting this. It was interesting and sweet, and she seems like a great person. It makes me wonder how his on camera persona differs from his IRL persona.
Oh I enjoyed hearing their love story ^_^ I remember when I first saw that remote, I was so happy for my man Conan xD It was definately an outstanding chemistry, and I myself was lucky enough to have that once in my lifetime.
I'm so ready for Conan to be the embassador to some country and than President of the United States and Liza to be first lady! What a wonderful story ❤️. I have been watching Conan classic especially the ones where he traveled all over the world 🌎. My favorite one was Korea and American girl dolls.
