His problem is; he is riding the brakes. When the logs start to push you down the hill just give it gas and go. You need to outrun the logs. You going down to the bottom any way. You can see he gets in more trouble when he used the brakes. He gets the skidder sideways and crooked. When the logs push you just give it some gas to keep the skidder going straight, ahead of the logs. Same way in a log truck when you start sliding down a muddy hill just give it gas instead of riding the brakes. You got to keep the truck straight .
I think I get what you folks are trying to do (insane long skids+no roads) but come on man, ya all are lucky no one has got themselves killed yet. That cage on the skidder/LKT is only good for so much, and the window won't help with a well placed stump or rock or whatever
The guy needs to keep the rev high,,using lowest gear, then he has control of steering, instead of sliding down the hill like it’s a tobaggan. When he gets closer to the bottom it’s like the skidded is free wheeling out of gear. Therefore his hitch went under his machine and flipped him over.
Have you got very long way from cutting area to wood storage, or there is another reason of risking like this?? It's not your first rollover, (just I'm still observing this channel). If you have to do it like this, try to use diff-lock, when load tries to pull your skidder, it would prevent turning wheels in reverse directions...
Mechamaniak my suggestion is to stop riding the brakes so much. When the logs start to push you down the hill, hit the throttle and speed up to stay ahead of the logs. He gets it in more trouble when he hits the brakes trying to slow it down. Your going to the bottom anyway. Used to log in washington.
Nechci chytračit ale proč si nechává ten traktor tak rozjed ? Kdyby jel dolu pěkně pomalu se zapnutýma uzávěrkama a radlici pěkně u spodku tak to snad udrží na brzdách a zichruje se radliců. Nebo je to tam tak promrzlé že se radlice nezaryje? Jinak máte super videa .
a tak spustit v takom pripade aj zadny štít nizsie alebo az dole k zemi, uvolnit trošku navijaky aby stromy vacsiou vahou tahal po zemi a brzdili sa same trenim po terene? a tak ako pise kolega by som spustil prednu radlicu, aj zadny štít k zemi a s uzavierkami a nvm cim este musi pekne pomalicky zist ... takto to chcel cim skôr zletiet
Kameraman je už evidentne zvyknutý zaznamenaváť takéto akčné momentky pri tomto "pilotovi" lktečka zrejme aj 3x týždenne a ak sa kamikadzemu zadarí tak ak 2x viac.
Mam otázku.preco to nepolozil na zem a nešiel až dole naprázdno a potom si to nepritiahol s lanom?takto mal 90percent nákladu vo vzduchu a to akokeby tahal vlečku dole kopcom

Blbé no co už. Mohl odpřáhnout několik klacíků. Mě zase vo wekendu předběhlo par klacíků, naščestí bez škod. Zajímalo by mě co se stalo šoférovi a lakatošovi?

.....takéhoto umelca sa hora nebojí,čo veľa berie ale takého sa bojí,čo berie pomaličky a stále. Navyšeneviem či pozná tento šofér také možnosti LKT ako je rozšírenie rozchodu náprav a naplnenie každej pneu 600 litrami vápennej vody. Pokiaľ by sa týmto riadil,tak tu elkátečku veprevalí aj keby chcel!!!
