Great testing Sean; really very useful. I like the HD24 barrel but I've got hundreds of Juls and don't really want to have to reinvest in a smaller ball for the HD24 barrel. I guess I could get away with using them in the HD24 683 barrel but didn't want to my balls rubbing.
Ha! Nobody wants their balls to rub but its a fair point. You could literally go broke having a barrel for every projectile. In my case Juls do roll through the HD24 barrel. Cant say that for all because my balls are old and well worn.
@@lesslethalfordummies 😜 Good to know they fit OK, maybe I'll pick one up. To rejuvenate my old balls and to break in my fresh balls I was gonna get a cheap rock tumbler and a bit of fine sand and tumble my balls for an hour or so and see where it goes.
@LL_Tool_J i ran 50 Juls through a rock tumbler a couple of years ago. Dry, no water , no silica, for 72 hours and was able to get them down to a true 0.683. Worked quite well actually but in the end i thought i was crazy for being so picky about bore sizing.
💯 cant knock it if it works. Might work even better with the new steel impregnated Juls since the dust might act as an agent. I was a cheap sob and just bought a bargain tumbler from Amazon for $30.
Sean, have you ever heard of a Canadian paintball company called " Flasc Paintball", they make 2.5", 5"+ non-ported barrels, A5, sm-lg bore selection and affordable? Since, their new Website, I can only get their home page and product summaries, not the prices. Is that a customs thing?
I have heard of Flasc Paintball and see their orings all over the place still but have never made any attempt at directly contacting them with regard to barrels. My understanding was they got out of the barrel game.
M17 is stronger if firing kinetic rounds…yes. The Tmc takes a little more love to reach the 30j mark but bottom line is both do require upgrades to be their best.
@lesslethalfordummies Cool I'm going to take your word cuz I trust you know what you're talking about I can buy me a stock one on Amazon for 350 bucks and then just build onto it myself watching your videos. Sorry to bombard you with a bunch of questions I just want the best for my money is Amazon a good place to buy one of those?
Nah man it’s no problem. I rather help someone build a marker rather than buy one. The most basic of things you need to start turning it up is a setscrew for the prv delete.
