Its not that Lmgs arent incredibly good, its the fact that ubisoft is so fixed on nerfing every other gun in the game....all there is left IS LMG. This situation is no ones but ubi to blame
@@blazininFurn0 You can just pre-fire or hold an angle (people love to just put their heads thinking you're out of bullets, on plat 2/3), and ammo does matter, being on a 1v3 and never needing to reload is a + (and don't even try to act like you're a god who just lands hs left and right), the assault might have had less recoil, but the lmg had very little (at least on pc it was so easy to control that it didn't matter if the assault had less), the same dmg and rof, plus the 150 bullets, the only thing the assault had was the angled grip, but it got nerfed
I feel like they're gonna end up doing an lmg nerf across the board and screw over Tachanka and Maestro. Fuse doesn't need a nerf either but he'll be fine with the AK-12.
If that happens I think the number of people who play them would drop drastically. If you want to use the Russian smg, you might as well use Kapkan or Azami. And Maestro's slug shotgun is not a good option in most games. With both of these operators having unique guns, without them they are no longer as appealing due to others sharing the same weapon experience with the other guns.
10:21 this is what I primarily don't like about siege. I can tolerate quick peeking, but being shot when you're not there is the most frustrating thing. Watched that shit on 0.07x speed and there was possibly only Mozzie's shoulder when he shot, but I'm pretty certain Evan shot just above that, at nothing.
That's just the angles dude. Watch some videos on seige angles. It's 100% better to hold the left side of an angle than the right side, and if your holding an angle hold it as far back from the apex as possible. Every op naturally is a right handed shooter in this game. There's many many videos on the exploits of seiges camera angle when it comes to peeking
I've been running LMGs a lot ever since they dropped the Aussie ops. I think at that point they were still slept on, so I wanted to be that one goofy goober who was different. Realized a couple of them were nice as fuck, so it's wild to see people hop on the meta.
My 3 stack simply bans finka every game. Since we’re a three stack we have control of bans. Thatcher is irrelevant cuz the wall opens regardless (mav, kali, twitch, Flores) and we learned to just play around the open wall, using shields or Azami.
Lets say youre in garage and don't electrify it. They will open and then thatcher will throw all 3 in both sites and then all the utility you have will be gone. I agree that mav kali are now more useful but i disagree to let thatcher.. Instead of thatcher then, what do you guys ban?
@@justdoit6782 finka. Even if chalet garage wall is open, just hold it using a Mira or from blue with Azami. Or use maestro cams behind the green trash can (they don’t ever see this). Also, you can still bandit trick if you want. I bandit trick on club house top floor. Not too hard
I have an idea about how to fix LMGs, feel free to let me know what you think. I don’t think LMGs are overpowered all the time (slow fire rate), they’re only oppressive in situations where you hold down firing for extended periods of time when swinging someone. I think instead of another recoil nerf that makes a gun really hard to use in all situations, ubi should only penalize long burst firing. I hate to say it but the reasoning behind how Fortnite nerfed LMGs is pretty good. They make them overheat for a couple seconds when you spray too long. Instead of making the gun stop working altogether, Ubisoft could make the recoil start to become really bad when you spray more than let’s say 30 bullets and the time for your reticle position to reset once you stop shooting is increased in this case. Now you have to choose between spraying with an unreliable gun that could miss even at close ranges or stop shooting and wait a half second for your reticle to return before you be accurate again. I think this change would keep LMGs viable in the majority of gunfights when having 100 bullets isn’t that much of an advantage.
The fact that anyone would suggest an overheating mechanic for real guns that don’t overheat, is proof of how far this game has fallen due to the competitive players

People saying lmg op is kinda wrong, its more like all the other guns got nerfed so they are underpowered. People use finka lmg cause of her gadget not her gun, same for zofia, do u see people complaining about fuze/capitao/gridlock lmg? No, why? Cause nobody plays them. Just buff zofia AR and nerf finka gadget/kit (gonne6 and frags) and that should reduce the problem.
Dude, Capitao's AR and LMG are completely identical in every way, the only difference is the LMG gets more scopes, more ammo and a longer reload time. Fuze/Finka LMG has no recoil and multiple scopes, Zofia's LMG has a stupid amount of ammo with multiple scopes and no recoil only sacrificing 10 fire rate compared to the AR. The Saw on Griddy is arguably equal to her Para on its own, but when you throw in either a Gonne-6 or Super Shorty secondary her LMG works much better overall Tachanka's LMG is garbage and the worst LMG, but it's still better than most other guns in the game because again, no recoil and high ammo, add onto that the way it destroys walls and it's no wonder no one uses the 9x19 on him You also completely failed to mention Maestro's ALDA, which has an insane fire rate and again...NO. RECOIL.
On coastline when you go kitchen go upstairs bust open the bathroom hatch and throw a c4 when the other team is at the door, I get 2 kills off it every time.
Yesterday when i play finka i use her Ar then i see echo in the corner i shot him in the body twice and then i was cornered then i pulled out my gonne 6 and i killed him
Every time I see an old clip I'm reminded how much better the old HUD looked compared to what we have now. That and the old operator icons looked so much better
Honestly, I think they should just half the nerfs they did to all the ARs so instead of having incredibly high recoil, they just have high recoil. It’ll at least make them a lot more viable and worth the extra ADS speed and DPS. ARs should always be low ammo, fast ADS, high DPS guns but with recoil and no zoom to balance them out. Not make them completely irrelevant by having near uncontrollable recoil.
I think LMGs should suffer a movement penalty, either a small one when equipped or a large one while firing. I would also say the Pecheneg specifically needs a recoil increase and the M762 should see a recoil decrease. Together, I think that’d fix the problem characters without damning the Defenders who use them. They might also need an increase to recoil once they’ve continuously fired ~20 shots as opposed to the weird mechanic where you can shoot the floor for a bit to get a laser gun for the last 80 shots or so.
At this point im not surprised anymore they wont nerf the lmgs till next operation and they also didnt gave us console players the streamer mode features, sounds got also more destroyed by ubisoft you are in a canyon if you shoot in the back alley at bank and you are also better of with no sounds at all since the sounds are also inverted
Gonna guess there gonna reduce the ammo a little bit for every attacker lmg increase the recoil a lot for every lmg and nerf the damage of every lmg some more then others
Reduce damage for lmgs Increase recoil, not to where no one can use them unless you're jacked more than Arnold Schwarzenegger to actually control it. Idk what ubi is doing but I hope it's better than what they did with the R4C and Zofias AR
LMGs should have MAX one box to use, give them 150-200 rounds in a single box so that you still have a fighting chance but instead of being able to unload 2-3 boxes, you’ll have to choose your fights more

I have an idea, instead of “nerf lmgs” we say buff other weapons types you guys right now are getting the bungie special everything else gets nerfed because the “pros” start crying about it. Until there’s only “skill” guns
Then once every weapon type has been nerfed, people will get used to the new stuff just in time for the pros to complain about something else, it's a neverending cycle until eventually everything in the game is more worthless in combat than a spoon held by a toddler, then it will be knife meta and melee will be removed lol
