@@SpanishlandSchool Andrea, para ser más específico sobre la bicicleta que compré ayer, ? no podia ser la segunda frase "Voy a montarlo hasta ti...." o "Lo voy a montar hasta ti...."?
Wow. I really like your intermediate lessons. I thought I was hopelessly anchored to beginning Spanish, but with the exceptions of a few words, I can follow you. Thanks for giving me a hand up into intermediate Spanish. Also, I like the format of this particular lesson, where you ask questions of a student.
A pesar de llegar en un nivel en el que puedo hacer una conversacion, estas pequenas cosas todavia causan problems. Ayudan a la conversacion fluya y suene mas natural. Lo siento por no meter accentos sobre las letras. Mi computadora es muy viejo! Lo excellente es este video.
Me gustaron Los videos (bueno, me gustan todos Los videos!) con los estudiantes. Victoria es una natural! Ella lo hace parecer facil. Tengo muchas ganas de ver mas de estos videos.
Muchas gracias por este vídeo! Estoy al final de unas vacaciones de tres semanas en el norte de Europa y no tenía mucho tiempo para practicar mi español. Estoy empezando de nuevo este mismo día y esta manera de aprender juntos con otra estudiante me fue muy útil!
Ejemplos usando “lo”. 1) El deporte de Los Olympics lo que me gusta mas es tenis, pero no lo puedo ver. 2) Echo de menos verlo porque esta transmitado durante la mitad de la noche. 3) Pues, el otro deporte que me gusta es “beach volleyball”, y con los mujeres. Es vascinante ver lo duro que ellas juegan!
MI TAREA: a. Quieren hacerlo más rápido que el otro equipo. b. Selo dije a ella porque quería saberlo. c. Lo más bonita es la amabilidad de mi novio. d. Lo que más me gusta es ver progreso en mi aprendizaje ?????
@@ilyakrasik3632 I'm sorry, I am not a native Spanish speaker - I'm just learning. English is my first language. I was commenting on the sentence in English, not Spanish. Apologies if that was not clear.
@@ilyakrasik3632 the verb is agreeing with 'what I like'. For example, what I like about cheese is its smell. What I like about children is their innocence. Etc. If you wanted to like more than one thing, you'd say something like: The things I like the most about Mexico are its food and its people. OR The things I like the most about Mexico are its weather and its history. Weather and history are both singular, but the verb connects to 'the things I like', which is plural. Hopefully this makes sense :)
You may have set her up for failure. Many of the questions in section 3, native speakers would not have translated them without using the word "that" somewhere in the sentence.
Perpetual translation is not the way. All of this could have been delivered and explained solely in Spanish. This approach only encourages the student to be thinking in English whilst they are speaking Spanish. English speakers outside North America don't need everything translated into English for them. (I really don't know why Americans seem to need this, but it probably has something to do with how they were taught at school). We anglophones learn faster and more effectively when staying completely in the target language. My very first teacher of Spanish, in Andujar, Spain back in '95-'96, couldn't speak a word of English. This didn't bother me at all at the time, and her totally in Spanish approach certainly didn't hold me back.
